If The Teen Found Healthier Ways to Deal With Resentment than an Online Post

You've probably have watched a video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kl1ujzRidmU) of a man reading her daughter's online post. I can tell that she knows how to deal with resentment, especially with all the chores he, her mother, and stepmother give her. She has a lot to do after school, and she juggles that with studying. She sleeps late because of all of that.
So, her father realized about her note while upgrading her laptop. He posted a video reading the note and shooting her laptop with a gun in response.
Well, although I lean towards the father for effectively teaching her a lesson, I wonder how the teen would shoulder even more resentment and find unhealthier ways to deal with it.
What if she had found better ways than ranting about it online? What are those healthier options?
