if you are gifted with artistic talent, i suggest you make a deviantart account, and establish your talent in their community. you can get art commissions there if you can get followers. i'm still doing that until now. whenever i need extra cash, i'll just post something on my journal that i'm accepting art requests. i can get at least 5 people who will ask for artworks in exchange of money. i can sell 1 artwork for $25 up to $250. artworks rate differs from rendering style used.
