My computer recently got what i beleived was a virus. When i went to google on the internet and typed what i wanted it to search for it was redirecting me to a different set of searches not even related to what i was looking for. I thought virus so I ran avg and superanti spyware and it didnt help. I restored my computer and still didnt help.
Any suggestions?

Hi there I would suggest that you activate your windows firewall too when scanning your computer for viruses I am doing that too so that when ever your anti virus can't detect a certain virus firewall does :) As for my anti virus I use avast and it was okay though. If your computer still doesn't work after so much tries and scanning, I suggest that you bring your computer to a computer technician for further check ups and if needed re format of your computer but remember to put a back up file so that you wont have to lose some of your files.

I had that problem previously. Its malware- if you are looking for the right term. Anyway, I got it when I downloaded some songs from frostwire. I am no computer genius, but nothing really worked until I had my pc reformatted. I took an easy way out, since its a really big hassle being rerouted to different websites you have no interests on.
