Becoming a Parent

Why do people want to be parents? When I think of parenting, I immediately think of the first two years that are portrayed on TV filled with sleepless nights, tiredness, and still having to work.
Do people just overlook the negatives of becoming a parent, or do they think the positive aspects outweigh everything bad?

Become parents is a gift.when i look at my children's face,my heart will be cool and if my wind is bad, know only, children certainly plenty antics, all those will disappear.Sleepless night, tiredness, its all normal for new parents who have a little baby but after a few month it will be okay.If you are not ready to face all those thing, its mean you are not ready yet to become a parent.

People can actually get used to sleepless nights and the subsequent tiredness in only a few months? I didn't think it'd be possible. My body stops functioning well after a week of little sleep.

JustAUser,
I have 4 kids, eldest was 13 and the youngest was 3.I don't have any problem with that. Its just for a few month(not every night you can't sleep)..like i said before,if you not ready to face all things, that mean you are not ready yet..

hi JustAUser!
well, becoming a parent is really hard. It is really a big responsibility. But I think being a parent is a gift from God. Having a child makes you feel happy. If you just think of it it is really hard but once the baby is there you will not mind the hardship. You will just use to it and you will always be thinking for your baby to make her or him to be happy and grow up to be a better person. :)

It will have a lot of reason that someone want to be parent.Someone likes child.Someone want a child to go on their dream they can't finish. My parent's reason is that they want a child to care for them when they are old.

Some events of life has to be accepted even we like them or not, so becoming parents is also one of them, parenting is most important step of ur life bcz u r creating ur new generation, if u dont do than u r not giving anything to ur vansh. to be parenting is not a bad experience, the initial two years of ur child is the time when u see him/her growing day by day, u will monitor each and every activity of his.

My mom always told us that if you thinking only about how bad it would be are will be to have some children, i do believe that you would never have some, because you are going to always find a way to escape it. So has a Mom I can tell you that I slept at night even if on and off some of my nights were shorts I, for sure could have in all that some real good night sleep. You are talking like you never sleep when you have children, " boy" I napped with them I played with them I still do with my last one. And I didn't only two, 5.

Being a parents is a huge responsibility but it is also one of the best achievement a human being could ever have. It require a unconditional love, patience and perseverance. Seeing their children growing with love and values is best reward they can ever have.

Sometimes I wonder. It does take a special kind of person to be a parent, someone with a lot of patience. Granted, if you do have the patience and get through those early years, then parenting is its own reward. However, there are just a lot of times where people decide that they want children, before thinking things through, before they are ready.
That is the problem. People don't really weigh all of the options to say the very least. There are just going to be a lot of times where they don't weigh the negatives and the positives. Most of everyone can really have children, but really not everyone can be a good parent. Sadly there are just going to be a lot of times where they don't think things through.

I think that most parents think on the brighter side of things or some don't realize the hard work being a parent entails, if you have taken care of a baby for a whole day or some parts of the day you will understand the benefits of being a parent, it is much much less tiring to come home without a kid but in my view it is much much ,more frustrating to come home to an empty house when your middle aged and have nobody. Im not a kid person but i would rather be awakened by my kid in the future than be sleepless and watch Letterman alone ( id love to watch it while feeding my kid and putting her or him to sleep while listening to jokes of the man!
