Do you think blogs and youtube are more helpful than usual websites?

There was a time when we relied on ehow to learn how to do something. But these days, it is doing a terrible job in how to department. I am not fond of about.com either. I feel as if the writers over there are always in a hurry to finish writing their articles.
Only people at blogs and youtube seem to have more freedom to clearly write and show tutorials. I am skipping the ones coming from ehow and expertvillage though. They sound closed off

The internet is a big bussines for all us !
On youtube i look with a pleasure the videos that teach me to do something. I have repaired everything that is possible on youtube only with tutorials so the site is prety nice for me !
Blogs are ok too, but that is something personal and you can get so much info from there....
To respond on your question : Yes, blogs and youtube are more useful than others methods !
