Is own a website is better than a blog?

I have a blog on earn money online but i didn't get enough visitors according to that on other hand my friend started a website on same topic with same information but his website getting double traffic than my blog. Can I start a website?

Shifting a blog to your own domain is always much better than hosting it on a blogger but I think your friend did something in SEO which would also be responsible for the high traffic in her website.

Can you give me a cheap hosting site. I want to start a blog too. Blogger and wordpress are good too but you can't maximize your earnings there.

in my opinion yes such as a website is better than a blog naturally this depends from service or contents you want share on the internet... so a website normally enables much more features and so it can attract more vistors which they can turn back if they like your site blog on the contrary is like a personal digital diary or a place to share your articles so it is different...in the blog case normally own really a quality blog can be ok so not just on free platforms as blogger or wordpress naturally from an eanrning point of view it depends from your contents and so even services linked for your visitors...
