Is it subconscious?

This might sound crazy to some but its okay. Lol I looked at the tissues before I walked out the door. I looked at them twice and said nah I will be okay without them. The minute we drove away I sneezed over and over. Of course I was kicking myself for not bringing them. It could be the littlest things that your subconscious I guess tries to tell you to bring something and you don't. Have you ever done that? Do you think your subconscious mind knows your going to need something even if you think you don't? Am I crazy? Lol Your thoughts...

It was a coincidence I am afraid. What happened to me was that I planned to have my car tire replaced. While I was driving I forgot to drop by at the car service station. Not long after that I felt something was happening to the tire. I pulled up and got off only to find out my tire got flat.

I'm not completely sure it is mere coincedence because it happens to me all the time! That would be a whole lot of coincedences but maybe I guess. You never know...

This happens so much in our family that we're always saying "I knew I should have...." If we listened to ourselves instead of always trying to reason things out, we'd probably all be happier, healthier and richer. I don't know if it's subconscious or if it's that our brains work the way GardenGerty explained. I suppose she is right and that it's a survival thing, and probably what a lot of "instinct" really is. Our brains can do so much more than we realize.

Everyone would probably be better off if we listened to ourselves more. Yeah I never thought of how she explained it before but she is probably right. Our brains are amazing!

Your subconscious probably was processing some information that you did not verbalize, but did take in. It was probably saying something like "there is a certain tickle and I think I am getting it." I have also, subconsciously told myself to be more careful such and such could happen, and sure enough it did. Your brain is working much faster than the words you would use to express the thoughts you have.

You are probably right. I honestly didn't think of that. I wish I would have listened to whatever it was telling me to grab them! Lol. I had to use a rough napkin and my nose is so sore from this horrible cold. =(

I think your subconcious self knows what you are about to do because of past occurences. Sometimes we are in a hurry and think we won't need something so we leave it. But hopefully we learn by our experiences and next time we either bring some or make sure we have some in the car just in case.

I have done that kind of thing before. I hate when that happens. It could be your subconscious telling you not to forge to take something. It is a strange thing. Some people call it a gut feeling. And you know what they say about your gut feeling, to listen to it.

They always say that the first thing we think of is usually right. So, that is the way to go. I know because I have thought of taking something with me and then I stopped and thought about it. Thats when we screw up.

I hate when it happens when we don't listen to it. Then later we find out we really should have! Lol. It drives me crazy. From now on I will be listening to it more! That is true, we should definitely listen to our instincts or gut feelings. =)

I think it might be true. I have many experiences with a situation like that one which happened to you. Almost every time when I am going somewhere, before I think about some stuff what I should take with me. Afterwards, I do not take it, and result is that after some time on my way, I definitely need that thing which I leave home. :-)))

Yeah it is so weird how that happens! Our minds are very powerful, probably more than we realize.

I am sure they are. We do not know what a power is in our soul, mind. Subconscious is really powerful, and even now we do not how much. It is like sixth sense. A voice inside us which tell us what we should do. Amazing

Our subconscious mind picks up on so much more than our conscious that it's probably always good to listen to it! There may have been tiny telltale signs going on in your body announcing the coming sneezes! Of course we could go the other extreme and get almost superstitious about it and that wouldn't be good either..

I agree. We should definitely listen more to what it tells us. I have learned my lesson with that one! I will be listening to it more often. =)

Tissue is a basic things you carry when you go out, i dont think there is anything happening with our subconscious mind, may be if it was some other object, we could think about it...

That was just an example. It happens to me a lot with different objects. I will leave and not grab something and end up really needing whatever it was...

I agree it happens or giving us advance warning (something like that) This happens to me many times. The recent one is when a friend ask for a dine out. As I get dressed, it's my habit to check my bag and stuffed all necessary things like wallet, coin purse (i hate it when counter ask for coin because they run out of coins)hanky (i never leave without them) tissue, yes for cure and my phone. For what reason, I saw my USB (thumbnail) hanging with my car key and other keys and unconsciously I thought of bringing it. (and I did) While having dinner with friends, we are talking about movies and she then told us about a great movie "GHAJINI". Since the movie is an Indian film, it's hard to look for any cd/dvd from store or rental shops. And, she then blurted "I have it saved in my laptop we can watched it later if we have time" The movie runs for 3 hours she said (wow, 3 hours) and then I remember I have my USB with me. Voila- I copied it and watched home And that was really a great movie :)

Yeah like it is something trying to warn us, that was perfectly said! It happens to me all the time too. That is awesome that you listened to your instincts in that way. Unfortunately, I did not listen but from now on I will. If I think I need it, I will bring it! =) Thanks for your response.

Often times when we go out, and I'm driving around with the kids, I would have an image of our garage flash in my mind. Then I would have a sinking feeling that I might have forgotten to close the garage. It would nag me the whole trip, and most often too, I wouldn't be too surprised to come home with an open garage. Thankfully, our neighborhood isn't too known for breakins. At those times, I think that my subconsious self is telling me that I forgot something.

That is the perfect example and exactly what I am talking about. Things like this happens to me all the time. I am going to start listening to it more often. LOL. It always seems to be right!

The power of subconscious mind is well proved and experienced by many psychologists as well as authors. Many times each of us has feel some unusual things, which may not relates to any planning or thoughts. It can happen any time without efforts. Many people used the power of subconscious mind to fulfill his/her wishes. You can also try it..
