I am now in a job that takes me 2 hours per day.
this means I will have 6 hours wasted every day. what should I do?
I do not want to have my life wasted like that. I tried to study the job related specifications, but that didn't last for long. then i tried to study some knowledge on investing, also that didn't last for long.
it seems that this situation may last for long time, I'm now worring about my career, where will I be in the future.
guys, do you have the same situation, will you be kindly enough to share your experience.
thank you in advance.

Hello Mickey,
Try out for a new job may be this job is not worth for you.I am in to the job where putting my 8 hrs/day too are less so i need to devote at least 1 hr extra for which i am not paid.I agree you must not waste your time and try to find a good job where you can utilise your time and potential.

the job I'm doing now is what I like to do, but unfortunately this cannot afford me a lot of tasks. to find another job is not an easy thing.
firstly, I have to have interviews again and again, I hate to be in an interview honestly;
secondly, even if I got another job, I have to be accustomed to the new environment, that is not that easy.
I think the best way is to find more things to do in the current job and try to digg my inner potentials.

mickey some employment agencies have tests you take to show
'where your interests and skills lie, why not take them
and learn what you could be doing?

hi mickeypeng do you have to be there for t he other six hours?
If not find another part time job maybe in the same field
and be learning the career you want or go to an employment
agency and ask to take the tests showing what you
are talented in. then go look for a second job to fill
in the hours. If this lasts a long time see if your boss as some other work for you to do for the remaining six hours,I
hope we give you some tips for you to think about. good
luck

I think your suggestion that talk with my boss for my six hour make sense.
because I have to spend 8 hours here, I have to make all my time valueable and makes more profit for my company and myself also.

Well, i think if you would really like to maximize your time you could either look for another part time job and don't just stick to one as long as your schedules won't conflict one another. But if you like you could also try appyling for a regular shift job wherein you would have to work for 8 hours and you would also be paid depeding on the job you do. But i think most companies nowadays would pay more for people who really have a graduate course and have their own field of specialization. It also depends on where you are located because here in our place its quite hard finding a job if you don't have bachelor's degree. It is really quite a tough competition here in our place because you would be competeing with other people who are mostly a graduate of bachelor's degree. But it still depends on you on what you really want to to because you really have lots of choices to choose from if you would like to maximize your idle time.
Happy mylotting and good luck in your career.

Hi mickeypeng,
In my view you are lucky . My job takes 10 solid hours without even having time to think about food. Not leading me in my career path actually but like a machine it moves. I need time to love, to enjoy life moreover I want to enjoy stuffs that were happening around me.
You are lucky as you have time to think, take desicion and can imagine a lot to set you future life. I know, you can read, blog or make money or study related to your job. But the thing is you need to have a focused mind on what we are investing and how. Study that interests you. It may create a new path to your future. Time is money nowadays. Why people are here spending time in myLot? We earn money for the time we spend and write. Imagine, dream and live.
Cheers... Have a wondeful ife always....

I'm so happy that you are not the same with others who only think of money. You are the type of person who will have a brighter future. I heard in the radio that we shouldn't worry about tomorrow because tomorrow will worry itself.

I am quite in the same situation as you are. But it will not last for a long time because soon I have to finish with my work. But I do not have same problem, because there is always something to do for me. I alway find something what is interesting for me, so I alsmost never get bored.
You should find something what you are interested in. But definitely, do not waste your time just sitting and doing nothing. You should look for some work even on internet what you can do during that time. That is what I would do If I would be you.
