Ghost Writers for celebrities...

I once saw an episode of Shark Tank (just in case you're not familiar with it: it's a business show where people with ideas come to rich guys and present their idea hoping that the rich would invest in their business). There was this small company who's business was to approach prominent people and 'ghost write' for them. They said they were discreet so you'll never really know.

well,i think if we cannot verify which uses or donot uses, we can estimate by the standard of essence and helpful thoughts.

it is very difficult to tell whether one writes for the other. however, if the celebrity who has a book has no history and experience of writing, then there is a cloud of doubt whether s/he writes what s/he has in his/her book. but i believe in the capability of one person to write his/her story. each of us has a story to tell, as they say. but the manner of writing is a skill and art, that not everyone has.

i knew one writer and she ghost write for someone... and i found out that the writer is popular... but she never told me who it is... you know she sign a contract to shut her mouth... i don't want to get her into trouble so i didn't press in the question and it's very unprofessional if i ask her who it was...

Some ghost writers are rather talented. There were books that I later found out were ghost written that I might not have never known. But then again, the vast majority of them are. Because no celebrity is going to sit down and write their own life story. A talented writer can make it something as if it came out of the mouth of the celebrity. But in many cases, there seems to be such a disconnect of emotion. Where there is nothing but hard cold emotionless facts that are being told time and time again. Really when everything is relayed by in a matter that seems like there is no drive, then it is very likely that it was ghost written. But many ghost writers, some of them are able to hide the fact that it is someone other than the celebrity writing. Its not easy to do however.
