Where is everybody? Are you watchin' American Idol or somethin?

Just today I login in the morning here to see how it's different. I usually login in the afternoon and it would be after midnight on the other side of the world. Sure enough, I found new discussions coming from the States such as this. Greetings from Perth. I have to wait 10 more hours to watch American Idol here.

I wait until I can start voting before watching Idol. It's too painful to sift through all those auditions and bad singers! On the other hand - I love the blind auditions of the Voice!~I called it right on two of the popular ones - Lindsey and Pip - who both seemed to do quite well on itunes the next couple days after their auditions. I never did watch the Xfactor. My daughter and I were going to but never got around to it. I think between Idol and the Voice we are satisfied with enough singing competitions for the year.

We ran off to get trained on starting exercising, and then we ran off to the Dollar Store to get some stuff, and to get the roomie out for a few hours...

I have no idea where is everybody, may be they are taking rest and will come out in full force when the darkness begin to fall. They are working on their moves getting ready for the performance in front of those means spirited and demanding judges.

I too keep an eye on the numbers and check from time to time if my pals have started something new. I spend a lot of time here but still.. call it coincidence or fate.. the time I am offline is the time I get all those comments and notifications.

yeah,i have wonder the same thing as you.Not too much members actively post here at mylot recently.LOL,it's so funny that they are going to water american idol and i wish they could come back soon and make friends here.Have a nice day.I definitely believe they would come back soon.

hi chrystaltears yes its really quiet here right now but maybe later tonight. I love to watch American Idol but we have four or five old geezers who get a hold of the control thing and they do not watch American Idol. so I retreat back here to mylot instead. I am here but am not sure how many others are here.Oh in case you did not know I am in a retirement center called Gold Crest. M y son and I were victims of the bad economy 3 years ago. he lost his job,we used up all our savings trying to keep the rent paid and finally got evicted.hence as my son was worried for my safety as an elderly diabetic and we were homeless and on the street finally he got me in here .I pay with my social security and ssi checks for the rent and board here monthly . not home but better than on the streets. he has an almost full time job and shares a bedroom with three other men whom he knew while he was in housing america before he got his job. so he comes to see me every week. anyway thats why I an here and I do do a lot of mylotting . hope it livens up later here.

Maybe it's different with the time zones, too. We have a lot of people outside of the US who operate on a different clock than we do..Or at least I do... I've noticed there's not a whole lot going on tonight, either? A lot less than usual it seems like, doesn't it?
