Good Memories Vs Bad Memories - which do we tend to remember most?

People say good memories are hard to leave behind, but according to me, bad ones are...bad ones never leave my mind...why is it so...does anyone feel the same way?

as im an optimistic person, i tend to remember good memories more. i dont dwell so much on bad memories so i wouldnt feel sad.

A person can choose whether to remember good memory or to suppress difficult scenes of life. Certain instances in our life trigger us to look back either to the good or bad memory. Whichever it would be, at the end of the day wishful thinking stays.
