Getting another promotion!

I have only been in my current position as a manager for about 6 months now, but in 2 1/2 short weeks I will officially be an assistant manager. With more responsibility comes more money. I will be getting almost a 50% increase in my annual salary! I am so psyched about the extra money. Since I dropped down to one job last year I have been living pretty much paycheck to paycheck sometimes not having enough money some months to pay all of my bills.
Have you gotten a promotion recently or have anything you would like to brag about?

I kinda got confused about it, do you mean promoted or demoted. You said you are hired as a manager and then in 2.5 weeks you will only be an assistant manager. Or is it the other way around? Or is it for a different department?

Congratulate you on getting another promotion!You certainly do a good job all the way, so they sets great store by you.I am not sure if the"I have been living pretty much paycheck to paycheck" means being unable to make ends meet.

Nothing so far, but I am on a home/hospital teacher list. So I might get something soon.
Meanwhile, congratulations! Keep up the good work. Now I hope you at least have enough $ to pay your bills.

Congratulations! I think that you are a very competent person and I am happy for the good things happening to you. I was promoted last year in my job. I am also very happy since I have more money. We are only 4 in the family and my sister is also working. Our parents are both old and we don't have much expenses in the house that is why we can save more.

I've never been promoted in a job yet. I've only really held two jobs though, so I guess that's understandable. Congratulations though! That's really exciting. Whenever it is that I get a promotion in my life, I know I'm going to be very pleased that I did good work, but also very pleased in an upgrade in my pay.

Congratulations on getting the promotion as well as the increase in salary. 50% increase in salary definitely sounds really good. Continue with your hard work and I'm sure you deserve this promotion. I have nothing to brag about right now since I'm not working but plan to go back to work soon...
