SOME people say, we are what we eat... and i think they are right in some point... we can be a healthier person if we eat properly and with care.... most of the people who eat a lots of veggies and raw food makes a good habit in their life.. and add points to that is the great help of what the food intake and the life span people can have in their life by eating the right food for them...
for me i just started doing things right in my food and its so hard to make adjustments... but the benefits it will give is the best thing i aim for my future benefit because it's not only that i LOVE my self but i LOVE my family as well..
as for you? do you wanna start now?? or already having a habit of eating good food for you and your love ones?

I also started changing my eating habits. Processed carbs seem to be my enemy. They seem to trigger hunger and they stimulate me to want to eat when i shouldn't be hungry. I have cut down on breads and other starches and all concentrated sweets. I will still eat fruits and veggies plenty when I have them... but I will decrease the amount of carbs. I try to keep my carb intake under 60 grams a day. I'm feeling better already. I'm more mentally alert.

How do you feel? Do you feel better? I do feel better. I have low blood sugar. It is in the 50s on fasting. Apparently the carbs I eat cause my blood sugar to plummet. I don't ever get low enough to pass out, but I do get anxious and irritable.
I still have some dairy, but I don't eat any bread or potato or any starches. I made some fried okra for supper this afternoon and I had some of that.

Hi, it isnt easy as it can be but i tried my very best..i was so impressed to one of my coaches before in a seminar that he is currently not eating rice for about 46days already... Having my carbs a little lower than the usual intake i have before makes me feel good. My sugar is notmal on fasting and it is nice knowing that i have notmal sugar now a days... I will try a little harder more and perhaps shift to brown rice i its possible...
Your okra is nice... .i'll do it sOmetime but will make it blunch..
Have a great day...

Yeah, eating veggies is really healthy! There are times when I wish I could be a vegetarian but I also love meat to give it up! Our body needs protein from meat too so I can't really keep them out of my diet. Lately, I have also been thinking about going on a healthy diet. Well, actually, I have thought of it too many times before especially when I get sick but I always end up not following the plan. I'll just settle with proportioned and balanced diet!
Good day to you

i myself make an extra effort on doing this. i make myself available on small trainings where i can learn most part of eating the right one for ourselves. Planning and execution should be together. Same on what you have sometimes i do also fail on doing things and those things that i really need to do.

I love myself too much and I am very vain with how I look. I have always eaten sparingly with my choices more on vegetables and fish. I am not a vegetarian though because I also eat pork and beef. Even when I am in a party where there is good food around, I manage to maintain my discipline and stick to the more healthy foods.I don't forget to walk in order to have some form of exercise besides sitting all day in front of the computer. If it is only a short distance, I would rather walk than ride. It has made me healthy and physically fit. I don't suffer from any ailments and hope not to do so in the near future. I weigh only 48 kilos on a 5 feet height without any extra bulges and fat. Clothes that I had 10 years ago still fit me perfectly. It is only a matter of discipline and being motivated when you look at yourself before a mirror.

Since the birth of my child, I have started to eat healthier and I am trying to make more healthy food choices now since I want my child to be healthy. So, I try to buy healthy food and try to make nutritious meals for me and my family. It is not always easy but I'm starting slowly and making the changes in our habits...

I eat pretty well. The thing I am needing to do now to love myself is to get more exercise. I believe I am going to go for a walk as soon as I have my walking shoes on. Your discussion is a great example, though. If we really love ourselves and our families we will do what we can to live a healthy life. Hopefully it will increase our chances of enjoy the life we have.

I agree with you there. I always take care of what I am eating in my diet and get a healthy mix of vegetables etc. I eat them very near to their raw state because that way my body will get the best nutrition from the vitamins and minerals in the products that would otherwise be destroyed through the cooking process. When is come to self love, that is very important, because we can love others more deeply if we love ourselves, because in reality, we have an impression of others in our own minds that we creat, therefore they are part of us already.. _Derek

I eat the right food and i exercise regularly to stay fit and healthy. Eating the right food only will not be enough. There should be a combination of diet and exercise.

Hi mmgonzales,
I get rather a very good point about people eating veggies. They makes good habit... It is real and I have seen many people. But what I have found recently in me is that I too get some good habits after I started to avoid my nv items and going with veggies. Now my food mostly contains veggies and I too like it a lot. I want to be healy and I feel too when I take veg food. Stay healthy and stay focused is true only through veg food I hope.
It is my 2 cents....
Cheers.. Have a great day always...

My husband and i are into keeping ourselves healthy, by eating right too. And so is our daughter , in a far city studying.
Yes, we do eat portions of meat, but we remove the fat and we eat in moderation. We see to it that we always have veggies too in our diet. Fruits are also a staple in our meal.
Most of all, we see to it that we always move a lot, doing our work on our respective jobs and chores at home.
To top it all, we always see to it that we always enjoy our day together.

I still try to eat healthy because eating habits are really important to make it right. Paying an attention to eat more vegetables and fruit, avoid to fried meal is important. There is so many way how to prepare a meal more healthier and the taste of it is even better that one which is unhealthy.

hi ernnesto, you've got a great views on avoiding fried because it adds cholesterol and other fatty acids. and eating raw is very great and essential things to add in our daily lifestyle... for me now. its not the body that i want to change why i eat good food and green leafy food. IT is the lifestyle that i wanna change,, and its takes a lot of courage and push for me to make it happen not just for now but for the rest of the days that i am standing..

yes, we have started to be very picky with what we eat. actually, we spent so much time at the grocery because my husband keeps on reading the label but that i won't mind since he just want us to eat healthy foods. aside from that we reduce rice intake and increase vegetable and fruits eating. we can't actually get away from the junk foods but we limit them. as much as possible we don't pass by the junk food shelves. hehe. but we agreed that we are going to have a cheat day also.
my husband is really a health conscious now especially that he joined the Biggest Loser Edition of our company. he will run every morning and do some eating moderation. it is not just for the contest but for our health also. so hopefully we can get by with this kind of eating that is good for us.
