What do the numbers next to the names mean? I know you get them after 100 posts, but is one good, or is ten good? Also, does anybody have a goal for that number? Like moving up to a 9 or maintaining a 10 or something like that. Also, does MyLot ever get rid of the money on your account after a certain amount of time? (Like, if I have $10, after a year, does it get erased?) And, does changing the payout from $10 to $50 back to $10 or whatever affect how much you earn at all? And finally! What do you guys all set your payouts to? Just curious to see how everyone on MyLot does things.

The 'star' numbers run from 0 - no star to 10. 10 (or specifically, 100/100) is the highest 'reputation' you can have. Personally, I set rather little store by the number. If, considering the 'User Rating' I have (which represents roughly how many discussions I have been involved in), my 'star' suddenly fell rather dramatically, I would contact Admin to advise him of possible abuse. If you have a User Rating in the hundreds, you can sometimes expect the 'star' value to vary quite a bit before it stabilizes. You only forfeit your earnings by (a) ignoring the Terms or Guidelines suffiently to lose your account or (b) if you don't log in at least once within 90 days. Changing the payout minimum has no effect whatever on your actual earnings. It only sets the limit below which MyLot will not automatically make a payout. Most people probably leave the minimum payout set at $10.

I know that it varies depending on the quality of your posts, but is $1 around 80ish posts or so? I'm at a dollar fifty right now at a hundred posts, so I'm simply curious. Thank you for your feedback!

I can't be led into a discussion about the Earnings Algorithm. We are specifically told NOT to do this in the Guidelines, so any attempt to do so (however crude) would almost certainly mean that my comment (and possibly the whole discussion) would be removed.

I set my payout to twenty five dollars so I can challenge myself to make it. I did the past two months, and this month I am up to 13.42 so far but I have about three dollars in pending tasks waiting to be approved. I expect I'll make it this month, too - if not - next month should be a really good payout!
