My Mom Went Home Shaking Last Night

She was held up by a man who pretended to be a customer.
My mom is a car agent and this guy walked in in their showroom claiming that he is a sure buyer and he got all the means of paying since he owns some big businesses here in our country. Then he asked my mom to drive him to his home to get the cheque he will use to pay so my mom did. However, little did my mom know that he has other plans.
He directed my mom to a deserted place and pointed a knife on her. He was demanding for all of her possessions: wallet, cellphones. My mom cannot do anything but give in to his request. After getting everything, he ran and flee.
My mom was thankful he did not ask for the car. She said maybe he does not know how to drive. Also, she is grateful that he did not rape her or something.
For the man who did this to my mom, I hope your conscience would get into you soon.

That was really a bad indecent indeed.I feel sorry for you mom. But there is something you have to be thankful for, that is he spare your mom's life. There could be a big chance of him killing your mom right there and then but he was not able to. Just be thankful for that. And God is still there protecting your mom.

That's true. That is the reason why I still believe that there is still something good in that person's heart. He left my mom alone, he did not do anything to her beside take her possessions which we can always earn and purchase again. I just hope he realize soon that what he is doing is wrong.
Thank you for your concern jndlponti.

I forgot to mention that he has been doing that for a long time I guess. Cause when he arrived at my mom's office, he was carrying a brochure of another automotive company and left it there. After the incident, my mom called the agent in the brochure and indeed, that agent had the same experience as her a few weeks ago.
How bout you jndlponti, do you have experiences like this?

OMG, how terribe...Its a blessing that your mother escaped
that incident in one piece...I just don't know what the
purpose of your mother deciding to drive him home, If he was
so business like, why didn;t he come prepared to purchase the
car...with the checks..
What is a car agent, is that the same as a car sales person...
I would hope next time she dosen't even consider taking some
anynwhere,who comes without check..
That seemed very crazy to me///

Next time ask him why he didn't bring his check book with him. If he has so much money he should be used to carying check books and gold cards with him wherever he goes.
A very frightening experience for your mum. i hope she gets over the experience soon.

I find it hard to believe that such a man,who is capable of robbing people of their possessions after pointing knives at them, has any conscience;it's a good thing that he didn't do even worse things to your mother, but I guess he is capable of such cruel acts, you never know what these people can do.Anyway,I suppose your mother would easily identify him, maybe he has a criminal record and his picture is available in the database of the police.I'm confident that he will caught and if justice follows its normal course he won't bother and scare anyone else for a very long time.

While I am very happy to hear your mom is safe and unharmed physically. I imagine emotionally and psychologically she is still very frightened.
Furthermore, and forgive me if I seem mean I do not mean to, but why would anyone leave with a stranger? So what if he wanted a drive home to get a check book? I would have told him to come back the following business day. Is a commission worth that much to one's life?
The reason he has come across so smooth, is he has been doing crime a very long time, and he knows how to do it. Was your mom alone at work? If so, that alone would never do, usually an office especially retail usually has more than one employee on night shift, specifically for safety concerns.
Has anyone reported this person to the police department?

hi notmuchofabloggeer, oh how frightening for your mom. my gosh I was about to cry when I read he made her drive and was so scared he had raped her. what an awful man. I would have been shaking and terrified too after that.shes so lucky he just took all her stuff. jot saying it was good to do that but I was glad he ran off.
what will be a real pain will be replacing the cards in her wallet.
After this I am sure your mom will not drive any stranger anyplace. Does the car place where she works not have a security offfice if so he should be around when odd people
come in.yes it was great he did not take her car, but what
a horrible time for your poor mom.I hope that the owner of the car place will think a bout sone extra security. and advise your mom not to take any unknown person on a drive.Hope she has recoverd some from this scary happening.

i am truly sorry for what happen to your mom. hope by this time she already okay with all your comforting words and care she get over it. this man is a threat to anyone not only to your mom but tho other innocent people they are just lurking behind and spying to see who gonna be their next victim. am so glad too nothing happen to her anymore the next time he encounter such thing. it is better for her to have someone accompany her just for safety reason and not to trust easily to strangers.

what an incident! your mother is still lucky to have the car.or should i say maybe the man knows how to drive but then he still thinks of your mom to be able to drive back home safely. the man still have the conscience to do right thing. I guess he just want money. Oh well, whatever his reason,it's still bad thing he has done. At least your mother is still lucky. Did she rport the incident to the police or something?
