What's the meaning of time?

We often spend much time on those things seems mean nothing,like watching TV, doing nothing but sit in the chair,hanging out in the street,etc.But is it really wasting our time?We all are chasing for success,but what is success?How should we spend our time?Like a writer said,A wonderful life should be full of surprises,expectations and be thankful.I think the meaning of life exist in thinking independently and being touched by something means a lot to you.Good luck,my friends.

Sitting in a chair, watching TV and hanging up with friends are not waste of time, they are part of the daily activities that make us relax and loosen up from daily stresses. You can't really work in every hour of your day, even a robot can get a short circuit due to overheating if it is working non stop for 24 hours or shorten its own life span if it work relentlessly for whole day. One should view the realm of time from an optimistic perspective and view it with subjectivity rather than objectivity. My friend!

I consider my life is meaningful as well as everyone else, i am sure the all loving God put us all on this earth to achieve cetain goal and he will always make our life meaningful. It is the negativity inside your head that created the perception you are not living a meaningful life. For me, at this moment when i am sitting in front of my computer typing my time away, it does't mean i am wasting my life away or live in a non-meaningful life by wasting time; i am moving toward my intended goal. Yes, you are right.

Maybe a colorful life is meaningful,It should contain many things including happiness and many other emotions.It makes us mature.I hope you are always happy!

Hello Leohuaige,
Time is the one which decides everything in our life. Time is the one which cannot be earned no matter whatever we do. No one can say I am earning time. We can just do what pleases us and do what we love in this world. Let us do the good things we love. Recently I heard a saying that the two hands ticking in the clock in not the hands but it is the life of the man who sees it.
The only way we can spend time is to do what we need to do for living and also to mold our future according to our desire. It is a hard topic but nice to discuss. Will wait for more posts in this discussions....

After reading what you said,I am a little confused.Though I spend much time doing things I love,I still think I'm always wasting my time.Maybe like you said,The only way we can spend time is to do what we need to do for living and also to mold our future according to our desire.May you have a meaningful life!

Time is relative, as you found yourself having a good time, time passes faster when you're having a bad time! My grandma says that our generation in always rushing and moving to a place from another, she says that, "time seems to past faster nowadays comparing to when I was younger". In my opinion, if I dont spend my time proply i feel like i had wasted a day.

Yes,but in order to spend our time properly,what should we do?your grandma is right,our pace of life is really fast.But sometimes we don't know why we are doing that,It seems that we are the slaves of time.

For me time is money.Coz i always spend my time to work work and work.Sometimes its make me mad.But if i spend my time with watching tv or didnt doing something its mak me bored.So for me time is money.

But what money really means?Maybe it means a better life.You are using the time to receive in exchange for the money,and money makes your time pass meaningfully.It's an unnecessary process. So why don't you live meaningfully by doing what you like?
