As per NASA Science News for Feb. 17, 2012
The brightest planets in the night sky are aligning for a must-see show in late February and March 2012.
You can start looking tonight.
FULL STORY: http://science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2012/17feb_winterplanets/
And VIDEO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8br4JiFEik
As per Vedic Hindu astrology planets have effects on us, their relative positions are important for me, because I am a Government Certified Astrologer too.
[b]Do you think you are influenced by the heavenly bodies in the sky?
So I will certainly watch the sky during this period.
Please respond, comment on this and share your opinion.
Thanks in advance.

Government also certifies astrologers?
Ok - here is my take. We still don't know the entire universe. We have some idea, yes. And a few of our ancestors were brilliant enough to figure some mathematical calculations, just like I am a dunce in current generation. Nevertheless, if we say we can calculate all planetary positions in the universe, we are indirectly giving god and his creations a finite definition, isn't it? Adi bhi main hoon, ant bhi main. That is very large indeed. So to me...with all that brilliance, and due respect to it, I am not sure we can say with certainty anything that influences our fate. There are something fairly accurate, but such accuracy also keeps diminishing because of changing sizes of suns and stars, and periodic interference from comets, and other meteors. Whatever. So while I accept that astrology is a science, and it requires helluva lot of calculations than random predictions that we see by Linda Goodman, and others, it is far from perfect.
Yeah, I am also going to watch those things, hoping something nice and bright happens in my life from now on. :)

hey that's great news. I'll definitely be watching, especially when the Moon gets into view, too :-) Currently it's cloudy but I guess there's enought time ahead to see them when the sky is clear. Thx for sharing!
Yes, I'm definitely influenced by the celestial bodies, whenever I look at them I feel very good and marvel at their beauty.
Cheers

I have huge interest in space and stars and i am definitely going to watch them. Though i do not believe in astrology. It is our own deeds that define our future and not the placement of the planets and stars. I think it is just another way of thinking we are more important than we are, such that even the planets are there to decide our future. Planets have their own life span and cycles. It is an interesting and everlasting science to learn and analyse their patterns. It is like viewing a sunset and the magic is in watching the work of nature and not in how it would change our lives.
