Funny mistakes

Some time ago my husband had an appointment at the clinic and on the way to the clinic he mentioned that he was very hungry. I said: "Let's buy something to eat", but he said: "No, there is fruit in the waiting room, I can eat some of that" I had never noticed the fruit, but when we arrived I discovered that it was true - there was a fruit basket on the table. My husband took a banana from the basket and was about it eat it...and then he discovered that it was artificial fruit instead of real fruit. I still remember the look on his face when he discovered that the delicious fruit that he had been looking forward to was artificial fruit. We laughed a lot when we discovered the truth. When was the last time that you laughed at yourself because you made a funny a mistake and what happened?

Had the same experience in a hotel. There was this table with really good looking apples in a basket neatly displayed. They looked so real, I had to hand it to the people who made those. The thing that really got me going was because not a single plastic apple looked like the other. I thought that was really cool. It sure had me fooled.

Yes, some of the those artificial fruits look so real. They people who have made them have done a good job. My husband had seen seen the fruit basket many times and he never imagined that is was artificial fruit instead of real fruit, and he didn't discover the truth till he was about a eat one of the them. It is a good thing that he didn't put it in his mouth, I don't think that he would have enjoyed the tast of plastic

Now that you mentioned it. The taste of plastic that is. I remember there was this shop back in the days. They had these realistic looking wax fruits, and they even had some fruit fragrance. Now that would have been different because they actually smelled like the real thing. I think you're husband wouldn't really just eat the banana right away. You have to peel it first.

Holy Crap! Thinking of food got me to remember the biggest mistake I had with food. I had posted this same thing here in mylot sometime ago. A friend and I were in a friend's house drinking all night. Later we got hungry and thought we'd have a look at our host's kitchen and there it was a bowl of our delicious delicacy all mixed up with rice. So we grabbed the bowl and sat down in the living room having a hearty meal. Then our host came back and said what are you doing with my dog's meal? Me and my friend said nothing but blinked our eyes a couple of times for the goof we made. Whoops! No wonder our host's dog was giving us the eye. We were chumping down his chow!

Some times this do happens and we will laugh at it once in a while when we think about it I remembered years ago, I was thawing some chicken nuggets on the dining table. I was busy in the kitchen at that time. My second sister came back from work (I believe she was really hungry at that time), open the dish cover and eat the nuggets one by one. Then my husband also came back from work, he saw her eating and also took one , holding it and as the nugget entering into his mouth, I was walking to the dining table and saw it with my eyes open wide and said ...it has not been cook yet! Then my husband pause and the chicken nugget still in his hand ... he said my sister ate them too My sister stomach is real steel / strong, nothing happen to her. So whenever I thaw chicken nuggets , I will just smile remembering that incident

That's really funny! But I think the nuggets are fine as long as they were prepared well even if it were raw.

I guess that your sister and your husband were really hungry and just grabbed the first thing that they found. I can imagine the situation where your husband holds the nugget in his hand and suddenly finds out that that the nuggets were still raw. It is a good thing that your sister has a strong stomach, and nothing happened to her. Maybe she is more careful in the future

Porco, your this funny mistake reminded me about the mistake which my grandma had did before. It was a few years ago where, i brought along my grandma to visit a fruit expo. The promoter said there is a sample of exotic fruits for sampling. My grandma was happy to hear it and without hesitation she go and pick up a fruit that being displayed at the corner of the table. To her amazement, she bite and discovered that was artificial fruit. Everyone of us laugh at her amazement. Without much thought, she also laughed together with us.

Some of those artificial fruits actually look like real fruit and sometimes it not easy to tell the difference. Your grandma must have been disappointed when she discovered that it wasn't a real fruit, I am sure that the artificial fruits don't taste very good I still remember the look on my husband's face when he picked up that artificial fruit from the fruit basket, because he wanted to eat it. I also felt sorry for him, he was so hungry, but there was no real fruit to eat.

LoL! I had a good laugh reading this! I also thought you are talking about a real fruit. Does it look really genuine for your husband to think it was a real banana? I hope so no one was looking when he took the banana and tried to peel it.

Yes, it looked real when we saw the fruit in the basket. We actually thought that they were providing free fruit for the patients, but it was just artificial fruit. Fortuneately we were alone in the waiting room when it happened, I know that my husband would have been embarrassed if people had seen him pick up the artificial fruit. He was disappointed, because he was hugry and he had been looking forward to the fruit, but at least we aren't going to make the same mistake again

About a year ago I had my bicycle fixed at a friend's store. The same store I bought it from. I was thinking of replacing it. So, I asked him to give me a new one for a ride. I took the shiny new white bike out and got on. The difference from my own was that that one had suspensions on it. So i decided to try the suspension with a little trick using the front break. Some of you might know what I mean. Yes, I wanted to get the rear wheel on the air. SO!!!! The suspension worked very well. I ended up a 34 year old idiot with the bike on my head and my face near a small hole with muddy water. I scratched my hand and started laughing. I went to my friend and told him. Lots of laughter. I also scratched the seat but he said it was OK. Hope you liked it. Maybe because I was a little nervous or embarrassed but I sure had a laugh.

About a year ago me and my girlfriend were walking down a street, when i spot a friend of mine on the other side of the road. In between of talking and walking, i found myself colliding with a a street lamp pole! My girlfriend laughted so hard. I was embaressed!

I have did the same thing, but it was my own fault. I had bought a magazine and there was a really interesting article in the magazine. I wanted to read it straight away so I read it while I was walking from the shop to my home. I wasn't really paying attention to the street where I was walking and I suddenly collided with a lamp pole. After that I decided I that wasn't going to read in the street anymore

i guess i laugh at myself evryday. every day i think i am smarter than my 10 month old baby. but he ensures i dont sleep with this feeling and plays smart tricks on me. i m always left speechless in front of him....always laugh it off....
