In our class my frnds and me stand on a debate.
Which is more profitable.
Petrol / LPG
all are telling that lpg give more profit.it gives more milage.
I told thm petrol is gud.it give same cost for 1 km.convrting petrol engine to a lpg engine is foolishness.
I argued them because my father had a petrol car which giv 15km milage.for 1 litr it costs Rs68.
For gas, it costs rs41 and milage is abt 10km
to convrt frm petrol engine to lpg it costs rs18000.
I told thm Lpg gave low milage.than petrol.
Petrol give low milage than disel.
Their boiling point is in the same order. I couldnt xplain the reasn be4 thm could u help me to make my debate a sucess.its my 1 man army fight.my prestige issue.help me.

How goes the debate?
Whether one gives more milage over the other is debatable & a lot of factors come into play from vehicle to vehicle, driving conditions, fuel prices, etc. To broaden the debate further, a more useful outlook would be overall costs versus fuel efficiency, or milage, if you want an easily measured outcome.
One of the bigger ongoing costs associated with LPG conversions is the maintenance. Cars designed for petrol were simply not properly designed to take LPG unless they are factory gas cars (cars actually designed specifically for LPG). Pretty much all places that do LPG conversions here are absolute butchers. In the early years, they had no idea what they were doing & ran into all sorts of problems. High profits for a cut-&-shut job. I work in the motor trade & see all sorts of problems with the components on all types of fuelled vehicles. Gas conversion cars have all sorts of problems, for many of which the driver is to blame! LPG converts if they are dual fuel, must always be started on petrol & run for about ten minutes before switching over to gas. If the driver fails to do this, the car develops all sorts of problems.
All up, it costs much more to convert & keep an LPG conversion car on the road long term than if you just left the thing run on petrol like it was supposed to be in the first place.
Interesting to note that the boiling point is in the same order. Isn't diesel cheaper than petrol in India?

sir diesel is cheaper in India but.diesel car hav more price than petrol car.heavy tax on diesel cars (sidan and suv).car cost hav a difference about 50,000 rupees(1000$)
Nw indias new budget is to increase the tax of new car to 5 to 15 percentage.
