Have you tried to make your own fruit salad?
Recently, I was invited by a friend for a birthday party.
The food is superb and the more that I was amazed when I tried to get some fruits.
It was arranged artistically.
Everyone has to stand first to appreciate it before they could pick their choice.
Have you seen fruit arrangements like this?

Hi Irene, so far i never came across such a creative bowl of fruit salad. I guess your friend must be a very creative person. I like to eat fruit salad as well. I always make fruit salad whenever i have the time to go shopping for fruits. This week, i plan to go shopping for fruits, to make fruit salad again.

I love fruit salads and actually all kinds of salasd! In any party it is on the salad table that I always feast on. In fact in most cases I won't even eat any of the main dishes. I enjoy going back to the salad bar rather.
Yes,I've seen such kind of fresh fruit arrangements in some parties I've attended and it is really very colorful and artistic and it gives a more appealing look to the fruits.

Oh, yes, we usually prepare fruit salad even when there's no occasion for it. We only put two or three types of fresh fruits though, usually apples and pears, and the rest are canned or bottled fruits like cherries, peaches, pineapple and just to make it have the Filipino taste, we usually add coconut gel. We however rarely make an all-fresh fruit salad since sometimes the fruits that we want aren't in season.

How I wish, I could also make a unique design for my daughter's birthday.
But like you said, thr fruit salad made from canned mixed fruiots is easier to do.
I would rather go for that.
But I will not add coconut gel.
My children do not like it.
I will just add cream!

Well, it seems birthday parties have come a long way since I last attended one! Traditionally, birthday parties here have the largest array of Junk Food ever seen in one place at one time. If this is the future of birthday parties, then invite me!
I think it was a good idea to let everyone see it first before those who arrived there first dismantle it.
Down here, in this state, you will very rarely see anything like this. The Raw Food stand at the last Vegan Festival, held every November in the CBD is one of the best places to see things like this on display. Up in Queensland, where the other sides of my family reside, these sorts of salads are more common at nearly every gathering.
I hope to see more & more of these arrangements as people opt for healthier eating choices.

Yeah! I will invite you if ever the circumstances permit it.
However, bring your own food. . pack lunch birthday party!
Any way, you are right.
Let everybody see it first before it is being destroyed!
This type of display is usually seen in birthdays, weddings, and other small occasions in my country.
It has become an added tradition during celebration.
Thanks for taking time to respond!

The picture was beautiful. It must have been yummy, but also a pleasure to the eye. That´s the kind of dishes that inspire me to cook and keep me away from being slim. Take care

No I haven't seen one.
But fruit sure is healthy. I think I enjoy eating it rather than just watch it.
Not that it means i don't appreciate anyone who can make it good enough with their best effort. They deserve the appreciation.

almost every night during my day off i make my own bowl of fresh salad, what ever fruit i have in the fridge, sometimes i only have ripe mangoes so what i do is scoop it and chop into cubes and add some condense milk with a bit or yogurt and put it in the freezer then after dinner it's cold and ready to eat.
