Yes I have everytime, and I still cry when I think too much about them all. I have had a bad experience with one of my neighbors long ago where a litter of young cats were taken away from me as well and I have never been the same, I was only 17 at the time and I loved them as my true children. They had their unique personalities. The worst part of it I do not know who ended up with them or how they were treated, etc. I think they got into the wrong hands, and still felt so helpless to this day that I could have found them a better home. I had no money and no place to take them to, and the control was totally out of my hands. I cry for them even to this day. I lost several cats afterwards by illness and it hurts to know they were stricken by such diseases and had to be laid to rest. I miss them all so very much.

I will admit that I have cried several times when losing a pet, because it is very sad. Just because something is human doesn't mean that you don't bond with it. If anything, it is like losing a child because it is something that has always been dependant on you for the whole of its life. If you have had a horse which has lived for 30 years or more, then it would be just like a member of the family, and it would therefore be very hard to be able to say goodbye to it without crying. There is nothing wrong with showing a little bit of emotion in situations such as these.

Yes, I have actually cried before when losing a pet. I am one of those people who considers their pets to be a member of the family. I get attached to having them around and when they are gone it is a sad moment for me. I had a bird that got away last year and I cried every time I had to look at his empty cage.
