Drama at work

When I was younger, I use to be very excited about the thought of getting out of high school and getting away from all of the childish drama. I just knew that once I joined the workforce in the "real world" that things would be better. Unfortunately, I have learned over the past few years that this is not the case. There is still silly childish drama, only involving "adults" rather than classmates. Has anyone else experienced this? When I talk about it with my husband he always says that that happens everywhere and that there's no escaping it. I find it sad and disappointing. Does anyone else have the same feeling? How is your work place?

this is the height of childishness and acting kind of immature and i find it bit odd and they need to keep it under control all the time..The work place is what we make of and we must enjoy the work

haha yeah, this exists and is actually more frequent in the work place than in the school. it is quite a bit petty in school where issues are like very easy to resolve unlike office dramas where you actually face some issues, some even stresses them out, others bothered them as much as it is their family problem. Well, my workplace now is of lesser drama. many people are here to work and to just be themselves, i actually do not see a lot of conflicts, well at least not very clear conflicts if you ask me. hehe

It is true that there is always "drama" at work. Don't be disillusioned though since that is common in almost all companies. Adults are often worse than children. In the workplace you meet all sorts of people with most of them insisting that they are right. There are also volatile situations at work especially when there is a political system in place. You just need to have large amounts of patience and understanding since you cannot escape these unpleasant situation at work. That is a normal occurrence and something which is not even worth the earnings you get.

This cold happen everywhere even in workplace. Sometimes, some people act so immature and handle things the way they like it. The envy thing for a person with high position is for me a very immature way. Yet so many co workers are like these. When someone in the office arrived with a great position, they criticised it. Isn't it a very immature way. I experienced all these.
