When I visited Tokyo, I was very excited about all the technologically advanced things they've had. But after a while, it was over whelming. How do you feel when you visit very "advanced" countries? Does it make you feel like the environment you've been searching for or is it not for you after a while? Why or why not?

I love technology so for me it would be exciting. I doubt I would ever get tired or bored or even overwhelmed. I like all the new things that come out. And I know I cannot get everything. But I don't really want everything. When it comes to computers, I stick with only Apple products. And speakers for my stereo I stick with Bose. I am very loyal to certain products. I do prefer Philips electronics over anything from japan. I am not a fan of Sony, I actually dislike them very much. But there are a few japanese com pines that I do admire and like. Like JVC and Panasonic. But thats about it.

At my age you feel like you visit that technologically advanced country every day.
It's so over whelming that all you can do is play around the edges and let the rest just boil. I learn what seems to be needed to survive but I also know I am far out of date.

I have never visited another country except Canada. I have heard and read where Tokyo is very advanced and that is great. I am glad i have the internet because i probably won't be able to visit any of these places in my life time. No environment that i have been searching for.

I was also amazed with their technology when I visited Japan. Everything...I mean everything was tiny in comparison to what we are used to. Cars, appliances, handheld devices were amazingly compact. I understood the concept...the smaller the stuff..the more room they have.
