T.V shows getting boring!

I find that I don't watch much t/v anymore. The shows are nowadays are getting boring. They seem to be about the same stuff week after week. I like watching my favourite soap because every day something different happens and on Fridays it can be really exciting. I also watch the local news but that is very repetive too because they don't tell you anything new until the evening news. I wrote a story for Yahoo Contributor- It was published on their website-Voices, It was about a show I saw called "Touch" starring Keifer Sutherland. I am a little proud of myself for them publishing my story but the downside is they only pay you if you're American, I'm Canadian. If I qualified to be a featured contributor, I may get some pay for my articles. I am looking forward to the premiere of "Touch" which will be on March, 19th. Read my article all about it on Yahoo Voices, it was published about a month ago. If you're interested. I like to watch Hockey but not much other sports maybe the odd football game. Comedy channel and Discovery, History channels sometimes have interesting shows too. Share what shows you are watching, My Lot friends!

I watch TV everyday and I have a few favorite shows which are a must watch! I like to watch a few kids shows and cartoons. I like comedy shows too like How I met Your Mother or Big Bang Theory. But television now is like bombarded with really dumb reality shows. It's like taking over my favorite channels and the things that happen are really annoying. I guess watching people back stab each other, get dramatic over something tiny and getting eliminated is more interesting now. There are a few new Tv shows which are alright but I haven't had the time to watch them.

I've been watching this news show on ABC called The River. It's kind of scary, and I'm not usually into creepy or scary shows. Because on TV, usually the network TV shows that try to be frightening, just aren't. But this one is good on suspense and not anything I've ever seen. I'll certainly never look at dolls the same way again.

That thing about Yahoo Voices was quite interesting. As for me, yes I would have to agree with you considering that our TV can only get one local channel out of at least 3. Since it's not cable, I am also missing out on some really good shows. I would have loved to watch episodes of CSI, and some of those really romantic english TV series. Now I have to do with what's available.

They've been always boring. Even comedy shows are getting corny too. I better go out and have adventure heh!

I do agree with you. TV shows are getting boring. They always show the same plot over and over again. I'm actually looking for something fun to watch right now. I'm into anything as long as the story is very interesting and the characters can really portray their roles very well. I hope you can give more details of "Touch" here so I can know if it is worth watching it. That is if you don't mind. :)

You can look up my article on Yahoo Voices but since it was published a few weeks ago, it's in their library now, so I'm not sure which URL to use. You can try either of these. http://voices.yahoo.com/touch-touched-me10890581.html https://contributor.yahoo.com/library/article/?action_panel_ctid=9334149 Just copy and paste in your browser and try it. The premiere show of "Touch" is on March 19th. So look for it in your local listings.

I think there are some well done shows. Personally, I think Dexter has some interesting twists, but be prepared you might not be ready to eat dinner and watch the show at the same time. The same for Game of Thrones both are cable shows. I enjoy watching movies on television, as some of the big hits have aired on television. One of my all time favorites no longer has new episodes and that is Monk.

I have to say that I don't watch a lot of television either. There aren't a lot of shows that I find very interesting, but there are still a few shows that I find interesting and enjoyable. However, generally, I still don't watch a lot of television.

I haven't heard of the show "Touch" - you let us know if it's good. I also agree with you in a sense, TV is essentially the same thing over and over again. I do like a few shows though, that I usually watch on Netflix. I like NCIS, Weeds, Veronica Mars, Degrassi, Law & Order SVU, Bones, and so on. I don't watch reality or sports though, as I find them both terribly annoying/redundant. .

I really do not watch much TV. The ones that I do catch regularly are Bones, Grey's Anatomy and Practice.
