Saturday afternoon, I received an email from the shipping company FedEx. The email said that my order was canceled because the recipient's address is incorrect.
I suspect that the email has problem. So I phoned customer support department of FedEx to have them check the email address. They say that email address is real.
So I downloaded the attachment document . When I click on that document, I get a notice that the infected computer for malicious software. Then Firefox and Chrome browser is turned off immediately and I can not open them anymore.
Thankfully the day was a Saturday, nothing make me must use internet. But I must spent almost 2 hours to fix and install the browsers on Monday.
Using the internet is dangerous. Although I was very careful but still under attack.

I never open any email unless I know who it's from. If it's a legitimate company like paypal, they will use your name in the email. If you get one that says paypal user - fraud. Delete. You were lucky you were even able to open your computer back up after that virus.

Email is a great source of virus attack of the computer. I have heard that the computer experts can ascertain if there is any virus in an email and can take measures accordingly. But we, the common users, have no such idea and so we are usually the victims. I would suggest you to install a strong antivirus device like 'quick heal' if you so far have not installed it which would save your computer from such virus attack.

Every one had it's on merits and demerits and spread of malicious software via email is one of the disadvantage of it. No one can filter such things. The only thing we can do is just to become conscious about it and take necessary steps. These steps include installing good antivirus and reduce the downloading of unwanted items. So this will surely help you to stay away from malicious software.
