apartment or college dormitory

I am really in a situation where i have to decide whether to live in an apartment instead of a college dormitory. I am going to study in Australia and i have to consider my living accommodations.
Can you help me decide guys and give me some hints about international students. thank you.

Find a family to live with.
Australian families love to accept students to live with them.
You will learn a lot from them.
If I were you I'd rather stay with an Australian family.

Search it in Radio Australia website. Just use mylot search engine.
It's much cheaper than living in an apartment but probably higher than the dorm.
Actually you can get what you need from the ambassy.
