I used to play farmville before but we quarell with my husband on it for several times, because i made an account and he play using my facebook account.so i also play using my son,s facebok account. But we quarell who will used the pc first, also in getting staff from friends sharing. Now i stop playing but he still do,and now more farm in each account, there are four. so keeps him lot of time to play. I need the pc for my online work like here in my lot,and a lot more site where i join, but him wants to play too. In the morning is his time and mine in the afternoon. I better advice him to play something like we can earn but he dont play it.only farmville.

Well if it is something that he enjoys and gives him happiness I say let him enjoy it. Everyone needs something that they enjoy doing to relax and have fun. I to though will not play games online unless I earn from them. To me its not worth my time. Farmville must be pretty addicting because I see people on facebook talking about farmville all the time.

I don't know what to say about FarmVille. I like computer games, but I think it makes us to be violent and agressive. About FarmVille, I think is a game for children, bad interface.

Hi ate Marivic.. This sounds really funny..ehehe but indeed it's a serious matter..I know and understand how you feel but i know and understand the feeling of your husband.hehe i once been so addicted to farmville, but thanks goodness I'm not into it just recently because of the online businesses you've shared to me, ( thanks for that by the way). Just a lil advice concerning you're lil problem..ehhe just let him play that game then, it's just a very small and simple thing that he wants to do in his free time. And it would be so unfortunate if he will go out with friends and do some things that are indeed annoying, like bad vices, and a lot to mention on it..ehhe....good day ahead,.God bless te

Well, that is often the problem with Facebook and the games, is that people can become addicted to something there, and always wanting to find time to check on them and work on them even if it means not doing something else they really should be doing. At least you have set aside times he can be on, and you can be on, and it would be better if you could also get him wanting to be a member here, but some people just do not find this site exciting.

I had a run with farmville also. I used to play all the time. I originally got into it because of my son. So, I created like 5 accounts for him to send gifts back and forth. But I have not been on farmville now in about a year. I come here to MyLot and lots of other sites now. Maybe you need to get another computer.

I love Farmville. :D Yes, I'm a little bored with it right now as there are too many quests to finish and I don't want to do them. So I only help neighbors who need help and that's it. :)) But luckily I haven't got a husband yet, so I'm the ultimate owner of my laptop, muahahaha... But in your case, is it possible for you to buy a laptop? I mean, it's simpler than PC and of course you won't have to quarrel again, will you? ;)

That really isn't a problem in our house. My husband has all but quit the games. He also has a laptop, and I use a desktop. I play frontierville now. I got tired of Farmville.

Well this sounds familiar. I've also heard some people saying the same. This is a proof that Farmville is indeed addictive. My son got addicted with it for a month or so but thank God, he regained his wisdom in due time. He is now wiser enough to realize he is wasting his precious time in indulging in it. He don't play this game anymore. He'd rather just do some other productive things in life. Well I hope other people learns to value their time as well. It is not bad to entertain oneself once in a while or just for some short time but to over-indulge in something that don't bring in any benefits is lack of wisdom.

I understand that, in your family, you have a problem sharing with your PC. You have to use it for work, while your husband and your son, would use it for games. Anyway, I'm like you, in the sense that I hate Farmwille. There are however 2 games on Facebook are the only ones that I do at that site, maybe you know them, them are: "Kingdom of Kamelot" & "MMAPro Fighter". These I will consider some more good games. Farmwille on my own is a "scrap"!

This is so annoying, I know what it's like though, we have one PC at home too that everyone shares. It's disturbing when I would have something importatant to do or get some work done, but have to give space for the players. I startedplaying Farmville too but found it to be such a waste of time... I'm not playing games any more but that doesn't help. If the games make someone happy there is not much to do until they decide to give it up.

Hello Angelako, you could encourage your husband to join myLot, become your referral instead of spending so much time in farmville.. :D It's not worth that you quarell with your husband just because of that game. That's my opinions.

I used to play farmville a lot too but have stopped since a few months lately because I don't have enough time for it. It is a very addicting game and if your husband enjoys it that much and is happy when he is playing it then let him continue. As for you wanting to use the computer for your online work, you can make a schedule of when you will use the computer and wwhen he can use it so it is fair to you both. We don't always have to do everything for money so if he likes farmville and isn't making any money on it, still it is okay to play as it gives him happiness and he enjoys it

I seriously recommend your to stop using the games like the one you mentioned because they usually ruin u r time when u get addicted to them. they are just for fun ... u can play a maximum of 20 minutes a day. else i would say u r wasting u r time ..!

Haii.. Haha,, i get scared when i hear the word farmville because even iam their vicim. I was too much addicted to farmville that it changed my routine entirely like it became a habit for me to sit near the farmville every morning and evening spending hours infront of it and it was totally addictive. And i had to struggle a lot to change the habit and put a full stop to farmville. And finally thank god i did it.Now no more farmville. Biggest problem was i was using a slow speed internet so more than anything else i had to wait more than 15 minutes to get farmvile loaded. Anyways have happy mylotting. Best of luck ..

There is no way you can prevent your husband to use the computer. If I may suggest you arrange the schedule on who will use the computer in the morning or in the evening that way you won't be arguing with him regarding the usage of the computer.I was hooked on farmville too when it was new and now I am not playing farmville anymore but I still receive gifts from friends who is sti;; playing farmville. The game that I was hooked on now was Ameba Pico hahahh it a nice game it's like sims hahahahah ..:)

thank God I don't like playing game on computer, but my husband does. He enjoys playing soccer game. He tries many games but the lasting one is only soccer game. I sometimes play game but not on computer. I like playing some games on my cell phone. I think it's more useful cos I can bring those games everywhere and it could be very useful when I was somewhere with no people I knew, games on cell phone could help me killing my boredom. LOL. so no quarrel happens between me and my husband cos we don't need to have quarrel over the PC. but his attitude in playing games sometimes bothers me cos he often forgets the time. he is able to play games till the middle of the night and he tends to ignore me and everything around him. it makes me angry sometimes..

hmm sounds like my little brother when i need to work on my computer to check my facebook and emails he just always wants to get on my computer just so he can play the video games i get on here, sometimes it makes me wish i never ordered an advanced gaming computer cause every time i wake up to him playing Call of Duty Black Ops and lately its just been ticking me off cause its not only an hours worth of playing he will sit there and play for like 2 days straight so i too have the same problem but hopefully its resolved next month cause my dad says he's buying him a computer. so maybe you should get an extra pc to do work on and the other be for his little Farmville needs?
