I was thinking about purchasing a flash drive that has games preloaded on them, but I was wondering if the games will work on a pc tablet such as the Samsung galaxy tab, or the Motorola Zoom. Has anyone tried this?

See ,tablet market has grown at an unbelievable pace over the past 3 years.
The pace is so high that you have thousands of models of different configurations in the market. Each designed to target different community of users.
Now XOOM and GALAXY tab are undoubtedly great tablets but when considered for gaming purpose,i guess they can not give you desired performance.
ASUS TRANSFORMER is a great option if you are a hardcore gamer. It has got NVIDIA TEGRA 3 gpu and runs on android 4.0.
Moreover ,it has got a technology with which you can STREAM your game from your tablet to your desktop's monitor.
But with great power, comes a great price.
So,if you have budget constraints, i would like to advice you either to wait for sometime and look for cheaper and better options or go with galaxy tab 10" screen.:)

It depends entirely what the games are and what platform they are made for. Windows games won't work on an Android tablet and vice versa. Tablets do not, as a rule, have the graphics capability which some games require, so look carefully at the specs of the games and make sure that they suit the tablet you have. Of course, if you are buying a USB flash drive, you will need a USB port on the tablet!
