Everyone will want a discussion on myLot that he/she made had a lot of response, and find the best response to the discussion. But not everyone gives a positive response, there are also people who gave negative responses, such as saying that the discussions that we make will be removed or deleted. When I receive a response like that my spirit is reduced. How about you? What do you feel when someone says the discussion thet you made will be removed or deleted?

If someone points out that you are breaking the rules, then you probably are and you should take note. It is not a 'negative' comment because the person who posted it is merely trying to warn you and you should take heed of such warnings and study the Guidelines again.
Ultimately, it is up to Admin to decide whether the discussion is legitimate. If the discussion is, indeed, deleted shortly afterwards, then you know that the warning was correct. If it is not, then you should ignore the warning: after all, it is only one person's opinion.

It happened to me once before I read Mylot's guidelines. I felt bad about it but it was obviously my own fault. The guy who informed me that my post will be deleted was just trying to make me aware of the guidelines. I mean his post was obviously also deleted together with the whole discussion so his intentions/post wasn't for monetary gain. He just wanted Mylot to be a better place for everyone.

I haven't received a response like that actually. But when i do, i prepare myself for it, once i reevaluated that it would indeed be deleted because of some violations.
I charge it to experience and hope that next time i won't do it again.

Hello rastaman91,
If someone says like this i just go to the guidelines again and check where i went wrong and if after that i realize that i violated the guidelines i stop commenting that discussions otherwise i go on with the discussion. It happened in the past that someone responded on one my discussion that it will be deleted but it did not and really was surprised to see that response.

If that person has a point and that there really is a good reason why my discussion will be deleted then I would accept it. I would think it is a shame, because my time was wasted on writing down a discussion which will soon be deleted. To avoid discussion deletions you should go to FAQs and read the rules thoroughly. That way, you won't have to worry about them being deleted.
But if someone tells me that and there's no good reason why my discussion is deleted, i would be very annoyed. I will ignore that person, move on and join other discussions for me to earn more hahaha. very simple. plus, we shouldn't be too sensitive. Jerks are everywhere, let's learn to avoid and adapt to their presence in this world.

If I get comments like that, I will study the comments. I'll read the faq, and find the location of my offense. If I could not find any, violations faq, I would ask the members who commented, where is my mistake. That way, I will be clear. And if my discussions, it does violate the faq, I'll try, to not break again.

It could get a little bit demoralizing when you've exerted effort to write and post a topic and respond to those who commented on it. But I don't think those who said that the topic is gonna get deleted are making negative comments. They're just informing you that the topic might have violated some of the guidelines. These are people who have been here for quite a few years and they know more about this site than us. I think it's how they wrote their comment that's sometimes saddening. I mean, some can really be too frank and direct :)

If it happens 'all too often,' perhaps you should look at what you're posting and read the guidelines again. Ignoring the problem won't make it go away, and it does sound as if you have a problem there.

If another Myloter is telling you this, THEY are wrong! I've seen people do this when the discussion is not wrong by any means! I've had this happen to me. I report them. They have been told to leave this up to the paid employees. Some people have been here so long they think they know the rules, when in fact they don't. Oh, and one time they got this one loter so convinced he reported himself!

I do not feed into negativity whatsoever. When I receive a negative post on one of my discussions, I will voice my opinion as respectfully as possible and leave it at that even if they continue on ranting. After all, it is at Mylot's discretion whether they would want to keep or delete your post. Some people are just looking for attention and feed off of drama. I just don't condone in it. And neither should you.

No feel bad because may be the person knows about this discussion rule so they said this. But some person says this word by jealous and I think this is depend upon mylot admin to delete or not. So I am not worry about about it.

Honestly, I hate it when some people try to warn people about this matter, but only if they're doing it in improper way. Some people just like to use offensive and unfriendly language
We still need to take a note, though - perhaps we have missed one or two parts of guidelines. Or simply ignore whatever they said, until Admin actually deleted the discussion.

When I was stilll very new here, I would get disturbed and worried about doing something wrong. But, lately I got used to it. I would respond back and ask why they think so. Afterall, its not them who would decide but the myLot team.

I'm not sure how i would feel if i got a response like that. I never have before. But i would feel ashamed and would want to make my discussions more interesting to where people love to respond and interact with others about the topic.

I have tried it but it was my response that was deleted here on mylot. At first i was a bit sad because it somehow decreases my points. However, also understood why they need to do it. I guess it reminds us too, to be aware of their existing rules and policies. Happy mylotting still! :-)

i try not to believe what these people say when they post something like that cause its not really up to them if it is deleted or not its up to the mylot officials so all i reply to them is that we will see when the officials get here and take a look at it.
just because someone thinks it will be deleted doesn't mean it will get deleted.
i've been told my posts will be deleted a few times but i tell them "ok we will see" and sometimes they don't but me i try not to worry i see that my rank is a green 5 star and thats pretty good so i know all my posts and responses are doing well and that i can do more.
but yes sometimes it does just take the happiness out of my day a little.
