Do you keep your underarm hair?

I think that, that is gross but another side of me thinks why should they have to. Like people judge other people if they do something different and I dont think that is right. God made us the way we are for a reason if we arnt suppose to have under arm hair then why did God give it to us? But I also think this about a lot of things and I know that a lot of people here are different religions but I think all religions look down apon on judging others...

I just wonder, how this tradition or practice came to be. I wish somebody here could enlighten us about this. I mean most if not all would agree that it's okay for men to have them but not for women, but why?

I am a lady and I often go for a swim and a spa experience. I need to shave off my underarm hair so I can wear my swimming costume with confidence. The same goes for my legs which I like to shave. I adore having smooth legs and underarms free from hair. I like to wear deodorant under my arms too. I would feel horrible if I had lots of underarm hair. My lady shaver lasted for eleven years and then I bought a new one which was yesterday. Today I shaved my underarms and legs. I do this when necessary which is very often.

Depends on the culture, Women in some European countries do not make a big deal out of their underarms. Maybe they think that their looks are enough. In my country however, we are very particular with hygiene and having underarm hair when you are female is kind of not ideal.

for us here in philippines, having unshaved armpit is really turn-offs to men, looks untidy. And for us here looking neat is a big thing.

I agree with you. Women or girls should shave their underarm hair. I feel uneasy when a woman or a girl have their underarm hair. As a man, I don't keep my underarm too.

I don't really like it when men remove underarm hair, because I think that it makes them look less masculine than they are, and this means that I wouldn't actually be attracted to them. I am a woman, and I will always remove my underarm hair if I am wearing clothes that show my underarms. I won't shave them unless I am displaying them, because I don't find that it is uncomfortable for me, but I do know that it doesn't really look very nice, so I will always shave if I am going anywhere where anybody is likely to see me at all.

I do remove the hair on my underarm often because it is so irritating for me and of course for women it is already a part of our personal hygiene. That is a part of taking care of yourself, to be neat and tidy.

I try to have it plucked or waxed. I happen to only have a few hair there so it's not much of a problem.

Yes I agree is a cultural thing, for example in my country all women since we begin having underarm hair we are taught to shave it, it doesnt look nice when we wear our small tops and raise the arms. Now I live in china and in here women dont care about it, normaly all have underarms hair. I respect that , but, still , for me , looks unpleasant, is good that usually they wear sleve tops.

I don't know if there is a country who finds women with long underarm hair beautiful but here in our country we find it shameful and untidy. Women in our country should always shave or remove our hair underarm so we will look pretty and clean. :)

I shave my underarms and have ever since I can remember, it is a common practice in my country and you are looked at as unkempt or disgusting if You don't, lol.

Ikeep my underarm clean and white...Bad to look at if its unshaved and not clean.Ilike underarm which is white and very clean meaning no hair at all..
