Who are better secret keepers ... Men or Women

Well, I don't really know which gender wins in my opinion. So far, my secrets have safe with both gender, as I have shared some to friends of both sides. Although I have to mention that a certain female friend of mine would love to share secrets of others to me, and now I wonder if my secret is safe with her. Oh no... Oh well...

Of course men! I'm telling this based on experience. I am a lady, and I admit I find it hard to keep secrets. I am talkative in nature, but there are some secrets which are really important not to tell that I really do keep.

In our house, I am much better at keeping secrets than my husbandd. kHe gets mad sometimes when he tells me a secret ago about one of our neighbors, and I let hi m know that I've known that for weeks. I'm usually sorry that I said anything, but it's hard not to play the "got ya" game.

Men I would say. Women have a reputation of being gossipers and usually let the cat out of the proverbial bag.

I think men are better secret keepers based on my experience. But if we are going to analyze it logically, gender does not matter, it all depends on the character of the person who has the secret. But to be safe, it would be best not to share the secret because in the first place, it is a secret. :)

Based on my experience, men are best in keeping secrets. They have this so called word of honor.

I think men is more discreet than women. I'm a girl but I have more trust men for keeping a secrets. A girl like me loves to talk, love to share secrets with other girls specially if it is your bestfriend.

I have found out woman trend to be blabber mouths with secerts. At least some do! I can and have for years! I will take some of my tp the grave if I have to! Most men can keep secerts but sometimes they say they won't ! Then turn around and say it anyway! Woman love gossip! why men blab I am still trying to figure that out!

a pleasant day crippledsoul, with reference to your main topic, for me it not depends on the gender as to who better keeps the secret. hence, it is on the personality and trait of the person as to how he or she will keep the secret. aside from that, it is on how the person will handle your secret, there are times, the secret was being divulge accidentally specially when a similar situation was being discussed. what important is, sometimes, it is better to keep your secret within your heart especially if you are quite hesitant to talk about it. cheers.

Depends on what is the secret, some men and women are good secret keepers but how good they are at keeping secrets depends on what kind of secrets they are keeping. Is it a bad secret, naughty secret, funny, embarrassing secret. So the conclusion is both are equal.

Both the gender can keep secrecy when the circumstances compel. According to my idea woman have more endurance capacity than man. So definitely woman have more capacity to maintain secrecy than man.

Keep other people secret is a big responsibility for someone.Its mean you can't simply tell the secret to another person.No matter what gender,if he or she can be trust so they are the right person to share our secret.Like you say..depend on person.

In my own opinion,its men who are secret keepers for my observation.Men were so secretive in terms of talks.they are very keen in observing and can be rely of their thougts...

Exactly, it depends on the person not from the gender. But something I always thought is: If you really want a secret to be kept safe, keep it nowhere else but inside your mind, if you tell it to somebody then deep in yourself you want it to be shared, and if that happens you can't blame no one but yourself.

This is quite interesting because if I have a secret I can trust my male friend with it and I never wrong! my females friends are great but when it comes to secrets? well...sometimes they are not very good at keeping them...so men are better at keeping secrets.

It depends on the subject matter. If it is an issue pertaining to other people, both men are women are basketmouths. When it comes to personal issues especially things not easily accepted by the society, women keep more secret than men and are ready to take their secrets to the grave. Things which affect their relationships with their husbands/male lovers are never disclosed even under oath with any sacred object.

hi crippled soul, in my part, i think gender that not matter what matters most is the person you entrust your secret to. There are some guys that can't hold their mouth and also with the women. Better yet if it's too confidential, just share your secrets to God.

good question.as the matter of fact i believe that nobody have that inborn capability of holding secrets to oneself. in my life i have known many ladies who would love to portray themselves as the "ocean of secrets" but in the mean time they are responsible for the big blunders that happened to many of our lives.In-fact they do not even remember when and where they had slipped of your secret to somebody. In my life i have known men who would love to win your trust and would behave as the superior person in your life after knowing some secrets of yours but they too have a tendency to reveal it when it comes to certain inhibit habits of them. For me we can not categorise between men and women as the secret keepers.For me it all depends on the trust and the priority that they receive from you and that very trust and position in your life of theirs refrain them from revealing your secrets.Ultimately its up to you to know the person perfectly before giving him/her the right to your personal secrets.

i would deffinetely say men cause most girls and women like to go around and gossip, i don't to offend all but this is true and im sure some of you women will admit it and the others will deny.
