I'm quite conscious nowadays about having white hairs because I already saw one last time when I looked at the mirror. Before i didn't mind about having white hairs because i was still not aware that i already had some but now i don't feel quite comfortable about the thought of having white hairs. But some people say that you should not pull out your white hairs because it would just increase in number. How about you? Do you already have white hairs? How old were you when you first had a white hair? Does having white hair also bother you? Thanks for sharing guys.

I first starting getting them when I was in my late thirties i beleive. I did pull out a few, then I remembered that old saying about pulling them, and more will come. So I stopped, but alas more white and grey hairs came anyways. I now have so many that I really need to cover it up, but sometimes get lazy and leave them seen for awhile. I have to do that tomorrow, recolor it, in fact. I don't think it bothers me alot on other people, but I don't like them on me.

Whenever I comb my hair, I will find I start to have more white hair. This is very disappointing. Perhaps I have suffer more pressure than before. I try to take it easy. Sometimes I will ask my son to cut the white hair for me. Since he is still little and he is patient to help me:) I love China

You know, at one time I freaked out about my hair. In fact when I got my first grey hair/white hair at the age of I want to say about fifteen or sixteen, I thought my life was over. And a little baldness here, but really when I think about it, my family on my mother's side has been cursed by thin hair. So I seemed to have inherited that curse. Still, it doesn't really bother me that much. In fact, should all my hair go grey or white and fall out, that might be a blessing in disguise. I'll say a lot of money on haircuts, that's for sure. Still my hair will be there, but it is hair today, gone tomorrow more often than not. So it is just really not something that I am not all concerned about.

I've been getting white hairs since I was 17... yes, I kept looking for them and pulling them out. I don't know if this multiplies them, but I had to give up I found so many. Now I'm in my late 20's and at least 10% of my hair is white already. It really bothers me and I don't want to look weird with my white hair so I color it.

Oh yeah!Same here....sometimes I won't stare my head in front of the mirror longer for fear of seeing plenty of white hair..hehehe..Sometimes I hate it why I have lots of white hair already when I am still young to have it. I am looking for best remedies how to prevent from spreading this into my black hair, do you have any remedies or techniques to prevent white hairs?

I do check it but not everyday. In my opinion, we, below 70, should not have gray hair yet. It's because of our daily eating habit which has cauwsed us to have white hair. Many who aged 70 still have black hair. This is probably due to natural food that they eat.

Ha ha - I don't have to check - I know they are there!! I'm in my 40's now - and I'm not one of those ladies who feel the need to dye their hair . . . so I'm just going to let them grow. No sense in plucking them out - or else I'd have a bald spot - ha ha!! I have "Asian" black hair . . . so you bet you can see "white". I think I was in my mid 20's when the first one made its debut. I used to pluck them out - I didn't notice that any more grew - they just kept coming back - ha ha. And somehow I got too busy to even think about plucking them out. Honestly, I still don't have tons, but it's enough to be noticeable. Nah - it doesn't bother me!! On that note, getting grey early runs in the family - particularly my dad's side. My dad has VERY thick black hair (um, HAD) and he got tons of white in his early 20's. I think he got nearly all grey by his 40's!!! Most of us didn't inherit it, but one of my cousins did. He is exactly my age and he is ALL grey now . . . saw his Christmas photo as I haven't seen him in years - and we were all quite shocked!!

I have my share of white hair too. I have them pulled out because they are sometimes itchy. They bother me when they stand out among my neatly combed and coiffed hairdo. The first time I saw one, I got worried because I have associated it with old age, ugliness, creepiness and so on and so forth which was very depressing because I have a thin hair.

Yes I have seen white hair. I am not sure how old I was. Right now I am 22 but i haven't seen white hair. If more melanin is present in the hair, the color of the hair is darker; Which is most common in tropical country and in Asia. if less melanin is present, the hair color is lighter and lean toward white color. White hair can be also naturally genetic. If ones parents hair grayed/white at an early age so will be expected with the children's hair. Stress contribute to aging process and white hair.

No white or grey hairs here just yet, but then, I'm only in my late 20s. The women in my family tend to be totally grey by their early 40s. My mother grew grey gracefully and does not dye her hair. I don't think it will be something I'll stress out over. If it starts happening soon, then I will most likely dye my hair for a couple of years, but after a while I'll probably just let nature take its course.

They say that white hair is a sign of wisdom :) It's an old saying that I think nobody believes in anyway. I have a few strands of white hair but they're not really that visible since I'm sporting a very short hairstyle. But even if they were very visible, I don't think I'll be bothered. I guess I've always accepted the fact that I'll be having white hair eventually.

Yes I have seen and pulled out some white hair from me. I am thinking it might be those which had discolored from using some chemicals on my hair. But since it is not obvious and very seldom I see some, I don't feel uncomfortable coz people won't notice it yet. But if some years it started appearing of course it will be another adjustment in our life. We will feel really old. But then we just need to accept that it will happen eventually. Hmmmn not sure about white hairs increasing when it got pulled out. I have pulled out some white hairs before, and I still have lot more black more than white hairs.
