My 10 month old daughter has started waking up at 3am and it takes me hours to get her back to sleep. she wakes up and cries and stands up in her cot.everytime she stands up i lie her back down. as soon as i lie back down myself, she stands up again and starts moaning and crying. this goes on for hours untill she finally goes back to sleep. but then she wakes up again a cuple of hours later so im not getting much sleep. i also have a two year old daughter who is in her own bedroom but still wakes up sometime from her crying. anyone have any advice on how to break her of this habit? when my two year old was 10 months she was sleeping right through the night in her own room. i dont think my 10 month old is ready to be in a seperate room from me yet though becuse i worry that i wont hear her if she wakes in the night.

Ok, here is what you do, this is a very old ancient tip but its there for a reason just sing like a special lullaby to her softly when you are trying to get her back to sleep. repeat every time she wakes up and be patient, it will develop into her. Also, put something warm under her, she will feel more safe with the illusion of her mothers warmth. hope this helps :)
good luck :D
