If you have the choice to live in the Future or the past which would you choose?

It could be anytime in the future and anytime to the past. The sky's the limit. Remember if you go to the past you cannot take anything with you but your brain. Personally I would like to live in 2025, (pray this world won't explode by then), because the technology would advance so much, as well as culture. ;)

I totally agree....learn from the past and move on, you cannot change the past, but you can most certainly change the future. ;)

For me i say the past if worth living for. I think so because in thrid grade imissed so much of school due to health problems and i dont remember it that much but remember the teacher like she was my best friend or something. She meant so much to me and was a great teacher as well when i was in class. I wish i would have learned more that year because i would know more now then i do. I also wish i would have save dmore money in the past and paid bills on time so im not suffering right now on my credit score. I need to move out and wish my past was a little different for me so the right things would be now.
In high school i wish i would have done things differently because i believe my life would be so different right now as well.

I am really sorry..this is tough times, but there is a saying "Its not the falling that matters, its the way how you get up. Remember to live life and look for oppurtunites. Smile in the mirror everyday and ask yourself, "if today is the last day i can live, if today were the last day of my life, would i do want to do what i am about to do today?". go out and adventure,be the child inside you and forget about the past because the future is bright. And it is also bright because you yourself believe in you can do it. it doesn't take money or jobs or lotteries to change yourself. it starts within you. hope this helps :)

In order to live in past or future, i prefer to live right now. Past already passed, and i dont hope to go back to the situation anymore, the future is too far from me, so i prefer to live in every minutes, every second right now.

Whether you want to live in the past or in the future what really matter is what you do now in the present because that will tell you how would prefer your past may be and how your future will be. As long as how you live now is the mirror of your past and future. Its really great if you still survive in year 2025, and because that is how you survive now. So, do it great now so you will see your future when you get there.

I think that both options could be interesting. I am interested in history and I would like to experience life in the past for instanse life around the time when my great-grandparents were born (1904) I have heard about that time and I think that it could be interesting to experience that time in person. But as I am not able to choose both the past and the future, I would choose the future. I can read about the past and learn about the past that way, but no one knows what the future is going to look to like, so it would be exciting to live in the future maybe the year 2062 I am sure that there would be a lot of differences between our life and the life that people live 50 years from now.

I would like to live in the present - one day at a time - being forever in the attitude of gratitude for the good things that I have been blessed with.

Hi! I think this is an impossible question but I will still answer it. I think I would like to live in the future, because I believe its a time where I have formed my own family, have a stable job ,be a mother and a wife and be able to support my parents and family.Living in the past is also nice where life was much simpler and innocent,no responsibilities, no worries yet we have to grow and progress. Let us not forget this saying, " Learn from your past, prepare for your future and live your present time at your best. ;)

I would select the past where I could rectify my faults and personal weak points. Further I would enjoy the good experiences with enhanced joy as I would be more wise to handle the day to day incidents.

Can I choose present time? Lol. I guess not? :D
Ok, so I'm going to choose the past. The past has always amazed me. The past is when everything was created for the first time. I personally would love to choose the year of 1600. It was the Elizabethan period where William Shakespeare had ever lived, and I really wanted to meet William Shakespeare himself. I always be a fan of him. :))

I want to go back to my past to fix the wrong things I've done before but I don't want to live there. I want to live in the future. Nobody knows what's waiting ahead. Make the past as our inspiration to move forward. Happy mylotting!

if i were be given the opportunity to live in past or in future i would say to live in past, not because there are beautiful thing that i have done, nor the bad things, but because i already know what i am capable of doing. Not like the future that i don't what any clue what i have. :)

I want to live in the future. My past is my past. Those were the days wherein I commit mistakes and I made a terrible decisions. I want to live in the Future as a different me with a better decision in life.

I prefer to live in the Future.. I don't have regrets, not that I could think of, but the misses and mistakes I did in the past has made me what I am now that's why I think I don't have something to go back in the past. I want to live in the future (since living in the present is not included in the choices). Even though it's uncertain as we don't know what lies ahead, but the possible excitement and thrill is there.. I love the element of surprise!

In a more serious context though, choosing to live in the future is almost just as good as living in the present. You don't know what's gonna happen. The only difference is the element of time. Every waking moment is something you have never had yet. So in essence, it would feel relatively the same. It would just be like sleeping at night and waking in the morning, not knowing what's up ahead.
However, living in the past, you get to have more command of the things around you. You know what happened and what's gonna happen. The only mystery is, what if you tried changing what happened. As we know, all our actions have consequences and if we try changing something that occurred in the past, then it would have an effect on the future, which is actually the present. I hope I'm not confusing you.
However, if you're the adventurous type, the future would look more appealing. About 8-10 years ago, me and my friends were laughing at the concept of watching a TV series on your mobile phone. We thought it was too far-fetched. It only took less than 5 years since then, and the idea was conceived. What was laughable at the time became the norm later on. How ready are you for the future if you're not there to see it evolve? I think that would be a more important question.

Given a choice to live in the future or the past, i would choose the future as we already know what happened in the past but the suspense is to know what we will be facing in the future !
Thinking of the future makes me excited, as the world and technology changes in the matter of a couple of decades !
