Would applying for and taking a Human Resource director job in Miami be a good idea? Like I researched the Salary for the firm that i have interests in working for and it is pretty decent (88,000). But i know i have to consider the cost of living in Miami. I am from North Carolina, and i was wondering would that be a huge difference? What are your inputs and ideas?

Well the difference between the two states is alot. I know that North Carolina is a state were people are layed back and just kind of mind there own business and what not. Not sure where you live in North Carolina but when i went to Ashville i thought it was like just really weird and the people were so different from where i am from and im from South Florida LOL.
So ok South Florida people you will notice a big change in the way people dress and even act. We dont go to bed till late and i mean really late and then there are always parties in south florida going on. The beach is of course gorgeous. Many sports party things going on and celebrity seeings as well. You will see that the way people dress are very dress and the girls all wear high heels most of the time even if there heels are hurting LOL we just kind of keep going i guess you can say. Its just really a totally different atmosphere and really just so much difference between the two states.
We have no hills its all flat land and dpeneding on what part of miami you are going to there are alot of bums and weird things that you will see happening right in front of you. I had a guy come up to the car and bang on the window once and im glad i was first in line at the light and i jsut took off. I had a relatives brother in law that was killed and shot at a red light for no reason in Miami so of course alot of crime goes on depending where you live in Miami as well.
Hope i gave you some in light with everything in Miami that i could of think of.
