There are a lot of over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen, paracetamol, mefenamic etc. But, because liver damage is a common side effect for prolonged use, these are taken in consideration. Pau D Arco capsule is from herbal origin. Do you think this is safer? Have any of you tried pau d arco capsule for pain or arthritis?

I have never used it for any purpose, and from what I have read about it, there is no evidence that it works. In fact, some research suggests that in doses required for humans, there may be a toxic effect. Personally for arthritis, I use the MSM+Glucosamine for arthritis, and I seem to have decent results with that. Now of course there is research that says it doesn't do much either, but my body challenges that position.
