Job Troubles

I just graduated from college. We all know that finding a job nowadays is quite difficult considering we are all facing crisis as of now. I'm a nursing graduate so it's twice as hard to find a job. Currently, I'm thinking if I should apply as a company nurse or a hospital nurse. The problem is being admitted as a hospital nurse is one hundred times harder than being a company nurse. But being a hospital nurse is one hundred times better than a company nurse if it is skills based. so, which should I choose?

Ah you just graduated, and I would presume that you already passed the board exam, anyway with all the excess nurses we have and a lot of countries abroad limiting or stopping hiring, I would suggest you apply for any job that needs a nurse, it's very hard to get one these days even for students with exceptionally high grades (although they have a better chance). As you said "we are facing a crisis", actually we are already in a crisis so it's not very wise to be picky during these hard times, good luck and I wish you the best on your career

Thanks for the BR
, yes that's the Pinoy spirit, keep it up, you remind me so much of myself when I was young and very ideological, don't worry let's just pray and hope that all this will pass and thing would get better, best luck

Thank you for the response. Yupz, I already passed the board exam. I know it is not good to be picky. But then, I'm also taking it to mind to find a job that I love because all my efforts will be worth it if ever I get to have the job. But I will open my mind to your suggestion. If ever I can't have the job i want then I'll go for a job which will open up to new opportunities.

You have to consider whether you want to further your career or not. Being a company nurse could stagnate your growth in the profession. A hospital nurse could open further doors to other opportunities not only in the nursing profession, but probably to the medical profession as well :)
