Successful hungry always for knowledge, they know very well where they are modest in a sea of science so they do not hesitate to say "I do not know" or say "I'm sorry I was wrong," and I always learn from past experience or expertise of others, and accept and open mind criticism, suggestions and recommendations because they know who they are, they are a part of all in the age is full of variables and differences and even contradictions, which makes the error is more likely to occur and a sense of ignorance I await your Valuable and useful comments.

taheraa..there is no measure for successful. :) When I was in tenth standard, all I wanted with my mind, body, and soul was to pass that class, and that was my definition of success at that point of time. Thereafter, intermediate, and graduation, and so on and so forth. So goals keep changing. If you define success as monetary wealth, I am gonna disagree with you. I am quite happy and content right now, and I dont have as much wealth to boast about. :) Life without fear, and unhappiness, and life that allows me to enjoy music, and sing a note or two, and life that makes me feel good in front of the mirror yet even though temples are graying, and I have new specs..lol. Everything seems so great at the moment. This is not about the bank balances, or traveling in Rolls Royce. This is about being happy from within. :)

Yes, i completely agree with your Wonderful phrases " This is not about the bank balances, or traveling in Rolls Royce. This is about being happy from within". I Do no define success as monetary wealth. We must be role models for our children, When children see their parents have the success that real motivation for them to request and obtain success. Work sincerely and achieve all that is required of us in the framework of equilibrium in all branches of our lives, taking into account above all, obedience and love of God and others is the secret of success in life. Hope best success for all

In your case, and/or a lot of others case. I think that it does not matter for everyone to work in any other branches available in their area Regardless of specialization.

A person cant be successful by it's real meaning. As you have said that successful is hungry always for knowledge and thats why it is hard to gain all the knowledges on our entire lives. No, i am not successful. Have a nice time.

Knowledge gives its owner the possibility to face the difficulties that may stand in the way of his life, and the probability of success in life large.

Ah success, something is really that is up for a great deal of debate to really say the very least. I think that many of the goals that I have made in life, they have been rather hit right on the mark. Other goals right in life, they have really just missed that little mark to say the very least. But still there is some success in failure, as I receive some valuable knowledge. In the end, there are just many times where life is just going to really have many times where success can only be measured right in hindsight. There are just going to be times where I just look back and look to see that I have some success right in life. I just think that we are going to just keep trying, keep reaching for the stars, and we would be surprised with what we can achieve.

I am in the opinion of that success is to achieve balance and be effective in all branches of your life, at work, at home and in your community. All of this must be under the umbrella of obedience and love of God and others.

I don't think that I am successful or as successful as I want or aspire to be. i definitely want to be one but i guess right now I will settle for what I have because at least i have something to aspire and dream about to become.

Biginning of the success comes from the power of faith in God and love others and be loved by others.

yes i am successful only because i am a survivor, i am still here even through the tough times in my life i have scraped through, what we put into life we get out of life, so i would say yes, i have succeeded 48 years on this planet and i hope to succeed for another 48 years, as for work, i am a jewellery designer, i make all my own stuff and it sells very well, it won't make me a millionaire over night but i do get by with what i earn, i have succeeded by having 3 lovely sons who are too successful in having their own kids, my family are all happy, so i have succeeded in making them happy, the rest is plain sailing,

as of now,i can't say that i'm successful, but all i can say that i'm happy and satisfied.success doesn't mean that you should be rich or so intelligent, not all people are like that, but they're contented of who they are and what they have.

Happiness doeses is not a means of success, there are a lot of businessmen rich and successful, bur they are not happy even possible to say that they are unhappy. I be sure that if a person has succeeded in his work, his home, with other people and above all, succeseded in his relationship with his Lord, then that person will be happy.

Once again, taheraa..I am not fully cognitive of what you are saying here! Success is a variable...and it really depends on who'se yardstick, you are measuring it by, and what it is measuring! An illiterate learning to read or write..to me that's success! A hemi-palegic learning full motor-skills ..to me that's success! When my garden grows..under the most discernable conditions, that's success to me! Success to me, is when I have fully accomplished a most insurmountable task, and I am proud of the results. I think success is intreptive, too!

Yes, success may be different from one person to another. Person may be successful in his work, but not successful in the dealings of his family and with others. Success must include all branches and aspects of our lives. Success is not only to be satisfied based on what you work, but when praising others what you do. Before all of this, work should be in satisfaction of our God.

@my dear Vandy...Thank you for the concurrence, dearheart..it seems you and I mostly have the basic same set of values! @taheraa...On most basis, I also concur with you! I AM a very strong believer...BUT, I do not agree, that a person has to BE a believer in order to be successful. JUST like beauty is in the eye of the beholder...success cannot just be of those who believe. That is a criteria, I don't have the right to make a qualifier...for an individuals success.

Hiya taheraa, Would like to think that I am to a point. I can say that I am happy enough at the moment even though have been through tough times like a lot of people too. I love to learn something new all the time even about Maths which I really dislike but I like to read about things to do with that if they are interesting. On the whole seeing as I cannot measure success properly I will keep working at it till I improve a lot of things that need improving. Me too I learn a lot from others no matter where they are from I learn a lot from here too. I am always open to learn and realize where I have gone wrong too.xxx

Hi, lovinangelsinstead: Yes you get the point. Look to find out anything about everything, not knowing everything about one thing. like you said: "learn a lot from others no matter where they are from". As we are a live, we should continue to learn.
