Don't want to sleep yet... what do i do?

Argh, there are plenty of instances late at night that I would rather stay up than sleep. Sometimes, I have to force myself to sleep so that I will be in a better condition the following day. Have you had similar experiences? If yes, what did you do late in the evening? Aside from mylotting and making money online that is...

Hi aja... My sleeping time is determined and it is 5 -6 hours at night. I never get asleep other than that time and period. When i feel sleepy, i walk and wash my face and begin to read so that i can control my sleep. Have a nice time.

Aside making money online, I read, write and research until midnight. Doing those things tax my mind so much that when I finally go to bed, I find it hard to sleep it takes me hours before I could. The effects are unpleasant upon waking up the following morning - groggy, a throbbing headache, tired, whew! I wish I have more time to sleep during the day...... Nice day to you!

you ought to change your routines since your body is not all that well in the morning. take care of yourself. maybe you can do those tasks in the morning, so that it won't affect you when you are trying to sleep. and exercise in the afternoon, not before bed, so that you can sleep better at night. nice day

I had more cases like this than I can count. What I was doing was NOT making money, of course. lol. I usually stay out by my living room and just let my mind roam free. I can't do that by day because I'll be thinking about other things like school and some other unimportant stuff. I'm a deep thinker, you see. Don't give me a late night like you have there and I end up getting seriously sick.

There have been times where I have thought about staying up a bit later. But in the back of my mind, I know that if I stay up past the time, I am just going to be paying for it later on in the future when I have a night where I have to stay up a bit later for some reason. It is just bound to happen and I'll be tired and rather agitated during the day and no one really wants that to ever happen. Despite the temptations, I try to relax and get to bed. All I would be doing is surfing the Internet, maybe I'll be working on some articles, or watching some videos on YouTube with the sound low. Which would be the kind of things that would keep me up a little bit longer and a little bit longer and a little bit longer. So I force myself to get down to the count night after night, time after time again. So I try and get to bed when its time, even if I am going to be tossing and turning to get there.

it is very terrible to force youself to be sleepy .I ever had the experience some time when I am studying in the univerity . It is very amusement once I remind that time and i often want to find the reason why I have no idea to be sleepy /Ok ,when it pass on ,I can sleep as before . untile now ,I also don;t find the reason why I don't want to sleep .

Dear friend, I must say that very rarely happens to me not to want to sleep at night. Yes, even Iwould prefer to stay here on Mylot to write tons of discussions or reply to comments by other users. But recently I have to say that what is happening to me far less often. Now at night, maximum at 2.00 AM I can easily get to sleep. This means that in the morning I wake up earlier and more rested. instill this is just the cycle of life!

... why can't you sleep before 2 am? I was thinking like this, when it's 10 o clock, that is a good time to go to bed, but i don't want to go to bed and end up sleeping around 1 or 2 am. 2 am is extreme for me. more like i have to sleep at a certain time but i would rather not. getting to sleep is easy enough when we are very tired. argh, i'm suddenly confused

I would choose to watch some movies and also read my friends' articles.Especially emotional in the evening.Anyway,just stay whenever i wanna sleep.Life isn't just so regular everyday,just enjoy it.

When I stay up later I kick myself the next day because my children get me up too early. I try to go to bed at a decent time so I can be fully rested to take care of them. Sometimes when I am being stubborn I do stay up because I just feel like it lol. I either come here, read a book, watch a movie or write in my journal. =)

It always happen to me and its hard to force myself to sleep if I don't feel sleepy yet. so I watch my favorite anime online and read my favorite manga sometimes I play games, and chatting online. aside from being online, I read some books to get my eyes tired to feel sleepy,I play guitar(with headset) and it makes me relax. I also meditate and its really effective for me to sleep.
