If you notice, majority of our teens are intend to text rather than make phone calls. They grew to be texting robot someday, and they lack the ability to communicate through phone call one day. Some of them, like my cousin, I might notice her text her school friends, or non - school friends with those short message at least 100 of them. When she go to bed, I guess that she also busy on texting before fall asleep too. Her mom also mentioned that, when she about to get up from her bed, especially during the weekend, she had her cell on her bed side, without her eyes open, she still texting too. Would that be some sort of disease, someday we have took away the function of texting from those teens. They will be text maniac.

My youngest sister is 17 years old and she sleeps with her phone. She is constantly texting her friends and her boyfriend. Updates on facebook and twitter have to go out often. I get tired just watching her fingers fly across the qwerty keyboard. I also get aggravated because she does it constantly... no need to try to have a conversation with her she is always going to be interrupted by a text and have to respond of course. I mentioned this fact to her one time and she told me that it would be rude not to respond back... never mind that she interrupted our conversation to answer a text... Ugh! Teenagers!

You have to remember when we were young they did not have texting. And when we wanted to make a private phone call we had to be very quiet. Now the kids have the luxury of texting late at night opposed to making a call. But sleep texting is something I don't think I could wrap around my head. I don't get it. I could understand maybe making a few texts before bed, but not while I am sleeping.

Yeah it is a habit of teenagers these days. I've seen many of them like my friends, cousins, my brother, and others too. I think it is a bad habit, because they think it only use lower cost than phone call then they keep texting the whole day talking about something that didn't important at all. Personally for me, i prefer using phone call directly than using text because it is easier to tell what i mean. Besides, by using text sometimes it is hard to find perfect words for explaining difficult meaning. For texting, i usually use it to tell something simple like when we are going to meet, what i do, and so on.

Yeah well, it's easier to text someone than call them all the time. So if they are free they will text you back and also you have some time to think what will you say. But like you said 100 texts.. well, that's really too much if you ask me.

Hi King, i had seen my sisters are all having this type of texting habit before they finally go to sleep. I remembered myself when i was still very young, also have this habit as well. Sometimes, it makes me feel tension and hard to go to sleep, as i need to use my brain to think the words for texting. Although texting is cheaper than calling but it will bring bad effect to our eyes, if not well control. Luckily now, i don't have this habit anymore. Because i want a really relax environment before i finally go to sleep.

Speaking of this topic, I can tell you that this habit of texting in bed, I have some too. The only thing is that I do not write SMS to my friends, but owning a smartphone, often write messages on Facebook or even baste the discussions or comments on Mylot. Apart from the fact that I am not usually have commitments, so I can sleep a few more hours in the morning, for me this is not a problem. But, speaking of guys who have to wake up early to go to school, this habit in my opinion is not entirely correct. If then it turning into a disease, then in this case should immediately intervene and do not underestimate the matter. This is my opinion.

Teens are so addicted to texting that they are able to text with their eyes closed. It seems that their fingers have their own mind and already memorized their phones keypad.
