President Obama Singing At The White House

United States

Last night, there was an event at The White House celebrating Black History Month. Mick Jagger and B.B, KIng were among the mega celebrities invited to perform. President Obama was handed a microphone and did some singing while standing in the audience. He has a really great voice. He sounded wonderful. I loved seeing him sing while Mick Jagger rocked along on the stage. Everyone looked like they were having a great time. It was filmed by PBS and will be aired on February 27th. I have been enjoying the clips being aired on TV.

He sounded great. At least I thought so. Someone else might disagree, But I think everyone would agree that he looked relaxed and like he was having such a good time. But so did Mick jagger and BB King and all the other musicians as well as the guests. I like Obama as a person. As a President, I feel that he made a lot of mistakes. He was not experienced enough when he got elected. I think that he needed more time. I think that Hillary would have made a better President. Too late now. The lives of the American people have been very rough for several years. I am not certain if things are getting better with gas prices going through the roof.

I heard that the sales of Al Green records picked up after his last singing event.

So what do you think might happen after this singing event? Do you think that record sales will pick up for Mick and BB? Do you think President Obama will get a record deal? Do you think that his singing at the celebration will help his popularity? Remember that the party will be airing on PBS this Sunday (opposite the Grammy's perhaps?). The audience will be Obama supporters.

I don't think this one was as good as the last one. It has the "cool" factor because he's president and obviously a worldwide celebrity. But would the guys on The Voice turn their chairs around for Obama? Nah. But good for him. At least he's staying in the White House doing it and not traveling out on a singing tour.

Right now, I am watching American Idol. I watched The Voice the other night just for a little while. Strange but interesting concept. I wonder who comes up with these ideas. Obama is a cool President. So was Bill Clinton. Have you seen the clips on TV of Obama singing with Mick rocking along? It's great. It will be on PBS February 27, just a few days from now.

If he decides to quit his day job he could always get a job on stage. Maybe he will get a job in entertainment after retiring as president...

I think that he might have a lot more opportunities available to him after his presidency. I like him a lot as well as the whole family. I do not always agree with his decisions as leader of our country but who am I to pass judgement. he is doing the best that he can just like most of our leaders. It's a rough job. I wonder if he sometimes wishes he was just an entertainer and not President of The United States.

He is one cool guy. I really like him. He looked like he was enjoying himself and having a great time. So did all the other musicians and so did the other guests. I look forward to seeing it on PBS.
