To all Filipinos, just asking you about the show "It's Showtime"

Im a kapamilya network. I love the show though i often can not watched it due to im in the office. I like the show coz of thier "Baliwan segment" and its much different concept than "eat bulaga" I also watch "eat bulaga" bcoz of Jose&wally time but that just it.... I still switch back to Its showtime if really i have some time to watch it...

i watch both shows but not on a regular basis. i can't say which one is better since i'm not an avid watcher but from many times i've watched both shows i can tell you what i like in each show. there's no denying that eat bulaga owns noontime slot. i've stayed in visayas and luzon and i can tell they have a massive fan base. plus it's a long running show. it will be hard for showtime or any other noontime show to take what they have earned over the years. i like pinoy henyo but i want to see something fresh, something totally random, out of the blue, quirky... and for that i switch to showtime. i don't like there segments but it's fun listening to the hosts' witty exchange. but i find the show dragging most of the time.

Well, whatever they do to compete with eat bulaga, they never win because they don't have originality and most of all. The show seems a perya...

I haven't actually found time to watch noontime variety shows lately although I've heard some positive feedback from family and friends about "It's Showtime." It's however too early to tell if they could surpass and outlast the 33-year-old "Eat Bulaga." (Almost as old as I am :) Usually new shows have their ratings high since viewers are really interested in what the show offers and who the celebrities are. What I noticed though is that these noontime shows have almost similar formats. And as such, if "It's Showtime" doesn't have some totally new and interesting segment, it might be difficult for it to outshine "Eat Bulaga." :)

for me, I really don't find that show as an awesome one because of their o.a. antics and stale style of parody or joking. I don't watch this show either, and most of all I don't find them as a new threat to the ever-luxurious Eat Bulaga. They just couldn't match the latter's magic. I

i can say that showtime is really good very entertaining though i seldom can watch it even my phone had tv because am in the office.. even my two year old son watch that show too. :)

My partner and I always has a thing for Kapamilya shows, and one of these is showtime.. i don't know we were just a fan of Vice ganda and Anne curtis.. I don't usually watch Eat Bulaga only Pinoy Henyo and after that we'll just go back to Its showtime..I guess I am fond of the way showtime entertains people unlike Eat Bulaga all their activities I think were all routinary.. No extra special to watch for

I just love It's Showtime. Their jokes aren't corny and up-to-date - not old-fashioned.

I also like their segment wherein the host will acts based on the narration of the naarrator, who was Billy at that time, and audience are allowed to act with them. They might also win prizes based on their acting capability. I found it soo funny, specially Anne and Vice. But I think I am still a fan of Eat Bulaga, specially that their programs have nice purpose in our society, like Juan for All. I also love Bossing.

I have wached the come back of showtime as the new lunchtime show of ABS-CBN. So far, the show is good although there are big changes occured abd a lot more diferent now. Aside from that they have new segments and I guess people are enjoying.

Its true. They were much better before they moved their time slot to 11:30. I guess the kapamilya network is desperate to outshine Eat Bulaga

when i have time, i can watch showtime during their previous time slot. i find the show entertaining and the their contestants are really good. now i cant watch them anymore coz its always eat bulaga during lunchtime. its already a legend. i guess no one can outshine eat bulaga in their time slot.

i like It's Showtime ever since it started because of the dance contest segment, the hosts and judges "sampol" and the interaction they have with some of the studio audience. i was very happy that the time slot changed to a more convenient time for watching tv which is noon. the new game segments and storytelling segment are also a good add up to the show and give the studio audience a chance to win a lot of money by just acting. maybe the length of the show is a little long for those who watch the show during their lunch breaks but the whole purpose of their show is to entertain. sometimes they go overtime because they have lots of jokes and funny moments in the show that they can't help not doing it. maybe it's too early to tell if the show is going to last as long as Eat Bulaga but we can't deny that ABS-CBN is more innovative with their shows, like the saying goes "there's nothing constant but change".

hello everyone! i'm new here at mylot and i chanced upon this conversation. :-) i actually do not watch the show before. but when my sister in law stayed at our place, she watched this a few times so i got to watch it too. it's a good show, yes, and i find anne curtis funny sometimes. especially when she's asked to sing. :) usually, we don't finish watching the show though, because just like some of you guys, we are also fans of eat bulaga. :)

I rarely watch kapamilya shows because of the poor reception here in our place.I am watching mostly kapuso shows it was good and entertaining.I don't mind if it is from abs-cbn or gma I go for quality shows these days which can entertain, educate, and can make you feel relaxed that's what I am looking for in a show .Eat Bulaga for me is longest running show here in the Philippines the show helped a lot of Filipino people through the years by their games, charity works and the like I don't think they should be compared.Both shows have the same aim..To make their audience happy and contented and most of all entertained. :)
