Each age comes with its own boon and bane. In stone age days and the age after that, people may have had healthy lives but then there were no modern tools and techniques to deal with many day to day problems. Can we live without electricity, can we think of a life without a phone, can we think of life without any means of travel like the airways, the railways, the buses, the cruise, etc. For people then this was a dream and for us since we are lucky to have these day to day tools for our comfort, we don't realize its importance.
Yes the side effects of this modernization is that we have polluted our air, water, food, everything around us because we as humans are somewhere selfish and our greed never ends. We want more and more. So i feel each one of us in some way is responsible for the mess around us. We have to stop blaming others and somewhere take the responsibility on ourselves as well. That would include common people to the top politicians, everyone.
If each one of us take a small step in controlling and safeguarding our environment in our own small way, we will be able to enjoy both the good air, water, food etc as well as modernization by striking a balance provided we as an individual take that small step first.

yes I agree with you we must not play blame game and should come forward to fight the pollution .
Yes I too think that its greed factor thats playing major role in increasing pollution .Its human greed that our environment is polluted badly .All are trying to become more modern with very little concern about how this modernization is affecting our environment.
We all must pledge to create awareness about pollution and its bad affect on our health and lives and must try to fight it hard .

We cannot run away from pollution, or getting affected by it. But we make a prevention. It is said that 'prevention is better than cure'. :D Make sure you are eating healthy, regular exercise and have some time to be away and in touch with nature. :]

yes I can understand your problem but we have only choice left is not to go outside to get rid of nasty and poisonous gases. But it sounds very discouraging that our air has become so much polluted .Our nature is being suppressed by ever increasing pollution around.......
Its responsibility of goverment and people to keep environment clean before its too late.

If you cannot afford to live outside those polluted cities, then what you need to do is support your health with antioxidants and nutrients. Eat more fruits and vegetables, drink plenty of water, and have enough rest. In that way, you can minimize the degradation of your body.

yes excellent advice I appreciate your insight about health issues .Yes I live near New Delhi capital of India which has immense traffic and pollution so I often visit New Delhi for various reasons but I feel bad at the end of day Feel as if I swallowed petrol, disel and carbon dioxide making me feel help less .
You are right by eating more fruits and vegetable we can prevent more damage to our body that get filled with petrochemicals that I inhale during my travels to such polluted cities .

Hi and a happy day to all!
I know what you mean, its really hard to appreciate living in a city when all you can smell is smoke from cars and factories. Well, even in some county areas its getting like that too. Maybe the good thing to do is plant more trees. Trees that can help absorbing those carbon dioxide and giving us more oxygen. It is also advisable that people will build a small garden around their houses. If 9 out of 10 household have wonderful gardens, it would help a lot. I believe in the power of plants to cool down such places.
Enjoy your day!
