As working parents time flies faster and because of the busy world and busy schedule sometimes we miss to do simple things for our love ones...My son always browse net for ABC's and Number's song in youtube... and add on to that is watching as always CAR's...that why this evening while browsing net he shout at me saying.. mother mother buy me that and buy color yellow for me! i focus on the screen and i saw a CAR and it is yellow as he mentioned. he said i will drive that car on my own... my son is 2.5 yrs old and he is so smart in his age..(take it from a mom). Our night starts with a simple conversation and i feel somehow that even not so long we have a right bonding and i've heard what my son wants.. and also need to be heard... i like his smile with our discussion and makes me dream for more and aiming for all my goal because i have him..
How is it for you having a conversation to your child?

I talk with my child all the time. she is just over three. Yes, she knows how to turn on the playstation and tv, and can get to netflix, but most of the time I watch with her and talk about what is going on.
We play and interact as much as I can daily. She is still asleep for a few more minutes, then it is time to get her up and read for the sitters. When we get home, we will read books and play until it is time for me to get dinner together. I will probably let her play one of her games on the computer while I am making dinner, then it will be play time until bed.

Now that I got my job back, I make it a point to still prepare their things before I go. And when I come home after work, I make sure to check on them like how's school? and of course don't ever forget to spend quality moments even just for a short period of time

hubby and i have two teenaged daughters and i spend as much time as i can with them. they both tell me what is going on in their lives and we share similar tastes in certain things. with my older daughter, its music and with my younger daughter, its arts and crafts.

I make it a point for my son and I to have a conversation every night no matter how tired I am. I always ask him to tell me how his day in school was. He's always so enthusiastic to tell me stuff like stories his classmates told him, what he had for lunch and recess (he has a meal card). Sometimes he tells me stuff he can't tell his mom. It's sort of like our little secret. I really love when we have this father-son moment. It makes me so proud and I really feel like I'm doing good at being a parent :)
