Do You Enjoy Theater?

I too love to watch the theatre! But unfortunately the theatres have got restricted to big cities nowadays because of the taste of the audience! The sort of theater which you have explained is the one I am keen in watching! I have watched many light and sound shows which are shown in many tourist spots in India! We have got a very good theatre in one of the NCR areas of the Capital of India Delhi, which is known a 'Kingdom of Dreams', which is a big theater with all ultramodern facilities in it! The Bollywood Shahrukh Khan is the brand ambassador of this Theatre and from the documentary shown about this theatre on the Discovery Channel, I think this is one of the best theatre in the country! With the modern technology many beautiful stage effects like making the elephant appearing on the stage and the Hero of Arabian nites riding the flying carpet etc. are exhibited with a great efficiency! It is my wish and dream to attend this theatre one day! Though the entry fee is bit on expensive side I think it is worth to spend that amount to witness a good play at this theatre! I love visiting the theater to see plays, ballet and opera. When I am in a destination like Budapest I can afford to go to such wonderful theater shows as those. In my home country it is too pricey to go to the theater. I can't go out in the evening these days. My kids got to bed around six to seven O Clock in the evening. Then I am stuck in because I can't find a baby sitter. I would love to visit Thailand.

I absolutely love going to the theater. I actually was a Drama Major in University. It's what I studied. This program looked at acting, directing, lighting design, dramatic literature, and everything involving the theater and drama. So, needless to say, it's something that I really enjoy.

For years, I haven't been in theater for years already and i feel like going someday. It's to be in a theater once in a while to watch plays and others. It feels relaxing and unwinding while seeing those shows. :-)

I love going to the theaters, it is such a nice experience to see the live acting and to see how everything has been prepared. The sets, the music, the costumes, acting everything is so good. I go to the theaters whenever I can but not too often since the tickets are kind of pricey but the experience of theater is really worth it...

I also enjoy to watching the theater. But not long time. Then i was borred.

I like going to the theatre, sadly I seem to go only once a year now and that is around christmas time ot see the pantomine with the children. It costs quite a lot of money to see a show and we just can't afford to og with the house and family ot look after.

it is fun to enjoy a movie in such an place,i don't have the experience to watch a movie in any theatre,i alway watch the films and plays on TV or computer,but i hope to enjoy that if i have any chance.

I also like watching in theaters depending on the genre. I could also appreciate the play as well. Because sometimes it makes me reflect and the feeling of calm.

When my children were younger I used to stop by and get a bucket of chicken and take a cooler of drinks and we would take off to the muny. It was an outdoor ampitheater in St.Louis, Missouri. They would have wonderful live performances like The Wizard of Oz, Cats, and others. When I was in high school we got to go to the local college their music department did operas and I was mesmerized by the voices of these women! I thought I would never like opera always listening to it on music while I took Music History, Music theory and Music Literature. But seeing and hearing it firsthand really changed my mind on liking opera. Have a wonderful day.

I enjoy watching theater performances when I was still in college. It was a higher form of art compared to movies and television shows. In theater, mistake is a big no for every performer. I got a different feelings when I watched theater performances, I seldom find movies to be at par for what theater can offer to its audiences.

i have the same feeling that you have when it comes to watching theater. :)) i am also a great fan of going there to see a wonderful act and stage. it's just that for me, it seems more realistic. Actually, the other reason why I like being there is because I love acting.

I enjoy watching theater. But the last time that i watched theater was way back 2007 since I don't have the luxury of time to watch. I really want to find time again and watch theater. I think theater is a higher form of movie. And I believe acting in theater is much challenging than acting in a movie.
