Okay, so here's this craze about the Hunger Games Trilogy. First, I read a lot of people talking about how great The Hunger Games Trilogy book is and have seen great comments from bookworms on different groups and forums. And then, news had spread out so fast that the best selling book is going to be a movie this year. A lot of advertisements hyped the movie and I think it is set to be released March of 2012. To be honest, I haven't read any of the books yet but I am planning to start reading them very soon, what with all the hype and recommendations I've been reading in the world of books and literature. So, I am planning to read the book one of these days and hope to finish all three books before I watch one of the most anticipated movie of 2012.
Now, for other mylotters, have you read the book? Are you excited for its movie adaptation? Any thoughts?

I have not read the book yet.
But I read the books of Grisham, Sheldon and Ludlum if I have time.
I am not also into movie as I prefer to read than to watch.
The exception though is when I want my eyes to shut early in the evening that is the time I wll watch a movie.
But most often, I read.

That's great! Those authors you mentioned are also some of my favorite authors. Most of the books I've read written by these people are really awesome. I hope you try reading the Hunger Games, 'cause right now, I've just started reading it and I find the book pretty interesting already.

It's Suzanne Collins. The first book was just amazing. Just finished and I am so glad that I started reading it. I can't wait to watch the movie adaptation very soon. Probably, the movie will be out by next week and hopefully I could get some time to watch the movie.

i have not read all the three books nut i have already finished the first book which is the hunger games which will be in movies this week. it has truly a nice story. i am not fond of reading novels really, but i sometimes only read when I've got hooked on it just when i read it's first chapter and this can applied when i started reading the hunger games so i decided to finish it. i don't have any copy yet of the other two book titled catching fires and mocking jays i think but i want to read it. by the way, it is better to read first the book before watching it. and on the movies, it is only the first book will be shown so it is just alright if i have not read the other two books. :)

Just like you, I've just finally finished the first book and I am so excited to watch the movie. I really hope the movie will do some justice with the book 'cause the book is just so amazing.! I do love to read the book first before watching any movie. That way, I could compare some results. But at times, it becomes a disadvantage on my part as well.

I have read all three of the books and am hoping for a good adaptation of them in the film. I recommend reading the books first.

Thanks for the recommendation. I've just started reading the first book of the trilogy and I must say, I really find it exciting. I just wish I could finish those three before the film comes out. That would totally be awesome. I am just hoping that I could have more time to read despite my very busy schedule.

I just finished reading all three books and I think it was really great. The story was fast paced and thrilling and had a lot of action plus a dash of romance. It's really one of the best books ever. I am so excited for the movie coming out this week!

I've read all 3 books and I loved the series. I just heard of this series from the movie previews and thats when I got interested.
Now that I've read them all I can't wait for the movie to come out in March. I just hope that they do the movie as close to the book as possible.

That's amazing. I'm hoping that they'd do some justice with the movie. I know that more often than not, movie adaptations can fail to portray a really good book. Anyway, I'm really excited to read those three books and just like you, I'm also looking forward to watching the film.

Like most of you, I have only read the first book. I think I'm gonna
read the rest of the books in the series if the next movies will come out.
Anyway, I liked reading the book so much and I'm very curious if
the suspense and the excitement I got from reading the book
will be the same as watching the movie so we're gonna see the movie
this weekend.
