I want to sleep all day

Is it the season changing, or I don't know, but it is so hard for me to get up in the morning. Even if I go to bed at 10 PM or 11 PM, I still find it very difficult to wake up and go to colege. I started a training program, to make push-ups every two days before going to colege, but I gave up on it, only to sleep for 10 more minutes. I feel so ashamed... Also, at noon I feel so sleepy, but I know that if I sleep at noon, I won't be able to go to sleep at 11 that night.

I also have this problem in myself, saying that I will wake up tomorrow early but can't get up easily, feel like my body have no strength, very heavy. Especially if the weather is very cold, it will make me feel not to get up so easily. This become a problem to me when I feel sleepy after I eat my lunch at noon, when I'm a student before on my college year, even though I want to listen carefully to my teacher's lesson, I end up sleeping.

Nope, I think exercise will do. I'm doing some push ups and sit ups this past days, and I think it helps me to reduce my hungriness in sleeping. =)

Wow, and I thought there was something wrong with me. I never felt asleep at school. The part of not getting off easily is pretty common I guess. Have you seen a doctor lately?

Hello winston90, Don't worry it happens when you get tired physically or mentally.Also the season do effect sleep like in winters i always feel more sleepy than in summer.That is the wise thing not to sleep in afternoon.Only thing you need is to have a strong will power to get up early and sacrifice sleep.

You re right. It is all in the head. You have to really wish not to waste all that time you could have done anything else, and impose it to you in taht moment, when it is harder to act. That is the way you improve your will power. It is a great chalenge, and a great thing that prepares you for the harder things in life.

I think some kind of negative energy is working inner your mind. It damages thrill in life. Absence of thrill in life brings laziness and lack of enthusiasm. I have experience such phases in life, giving so much wastage of time and negative thinking. Try to find out the negative factors working inner your mind and think of the matters bringing inspirations and thrill in life.

I do no think that negative energies make me sleepy. I mean how could they influence my sleeping mood. Also, I do not think negatively, most of the time. Just sometimes I have to take into consideration taht not everything will be pink and will happen just the way I want. You can't always act like nothing is wrong. that is when most disasters struck. You have to be in guard mode, but also enjoy life. My problem is that, besides enjoying life walking and talking I would like to enjoy it sleeping.

I have perfect health. I even donated blood a few time ago, and I want to do it again. It is not a health problem, I believe, so I guess it is the season change, or I don't know.

i think you are just tired in your training. Try to wake up early in 5 consecutive day and you will see the change. If will continue doing this, even though you are not using alarms, you can still wake up early.

You are right. It seems like the body has acknowledged that you want to do something and it helps you. Also if you think at night, before you fall asleep what time you want to wake up in the morning it seems you wake up just a moment before the alarm is ringing, so you stop it right when it starts.

I have a similar problem during these days. No matter when I go to sleep, I sleep always long time. I do not know what to do with it. I have to buy really noisy clock alarm :-). Maybe it will be working.

I made the mistake of putting my favorite song as the alarm tone. Now I hate that song more than anything. Note to self, and anybody else: Never put your favourite song as an alarm tone because you will hate it. The problem is that this semester I have clases early, at 8 AM, so I have to get up, and taht way I will manage not to waste all morning in bed.

In here it was sunny for three consecutive days. It is a very nice weather outside, but still it does not influence me whatsoever. I hope we will break free from the sandsman spell already.

It could be the change of seasons, or it could be stress. I know that when it snowed freakisly the other day here that I Was sleepy that day. I think that I would try to de-stress a bit if you agree with me there, or maybe see a doctor, it could be iron. Your in college though, so is it exams coming up for you that's got you on edge?

good day winston90, with regard to your main topic, i think the weather also affects somebody's metabolism in terms of sleeping. or might be, the food that you always eat, as i have heard before that the foods also affects the sleeping cycle of an individual. hence, try to check and observe for it so you can identify if the sleeping disturbance you are having is due to the food that you eat.

I definitely have experienced this all throughout my life especially now that I'm working. I am a sleepy head. I feel like if I don't get 8 hours of sleep a day, I would feel so down and non-energetic the next day. That's normal on your part. I guess, maybe try to drink some milk as some people say so that you can fall asleep early and be able to rise up early as well.

i was like that in college. i wasn't enthusiastic to go to school. don't get me wrong. i had high grades. but i hate waking up early. in your case, it might be because of the weather. it's been so hot lately and all that heat is just making me sleepy.

With me it happens the same. When im very tired I want to stay in bed the all day, but it s not possible and it is very unconfortable :( But when I have things to do and I need to wake up urly I do that without problems

hmnn.. look like youre one of the laziest person id ever found. Joke. Its normal but too much is not advisable. Be active! Make yourself more productive by doing such things that is good to your daily life.

I have to admit that I am a little bit lazy. I do not know why, because I definitely hate to waste all day in bed. Today I managed to wake up at 9 am, evethough I have no clases. It is a first step.

while the season is changing, i keep changing my body clock too. i really hate working in the morning because the weather temperature is too hot. i wish campuses could install some place where student can snooze or nap for a while. a student who gets so sleepy easily cant focus well on class. we know all of us, even if we have the right sleep schedule and even if we had an 8 hours sleep, we still get very sleepy in the afternoon.
