Is it during Lenten season only that people tend ask forgiveness their sins?

Why not ask God forgiveness at your everyday prayers?Do we have to wait that it must be Lenten season to make us ask God to forgive our sins?I have just observe these scenarios when Lenten is coming.We must change this doings by asking God in our daily prayers as we do when we are having our daily meals,so as we are going up after a night long sleep as well as we are awake in the next morning.It is really very helpful to ask grace from God and ask also His forgiveness and most of all thank Him for your life that morning that you breath again and eat again so you can also serve
Him.

You are bound to the gospels of God.We also do not observe Lenten yet as commanded the eating of vegetables and fishes only are in the table.Even not Lenten because I wanted to be a vegetarian and I always consume fruits.I always ask God to forgive not just my sins but the sins of all souls enemies friends relatives then to my own sins.I ask that all would be given complete protection against sickness accidents and natural disasters like typhoons earthquakes tsunami tidal wave and many more.I also ask God to not let the world be wipe out to its end time.I also ask God that I thank Him for my being alive this day with all my enemies friends and relative safe
and thanks for all the foods that make us all healthy and strong each days. I also thank God for the medicines taken to cure all ailments and make it not appear again in our body.

I really agree with what you are saying here. I guess, Lenten season is here to remind us mostly of our sins and place on this earth as sinners. However, as you have said, it should be everyday that we seek for forgiveness from God, reminding ourselves therefore that we must avoid sin and please God through acts of kindness and love that He may look upon us with favor.

You are definitely correct!It is already the habit to almost all people that it should be on Lent that they like to ask forgiveness to God,which I think is very wrong act because you can not remember the sins you have made each days of your life.
I think asking forgiveness everyday makes us more acceptable by God and that our daily path could become more safe.The passage of graces are very smooth and the love we could create would be shared by many who seeks the truth.
