Games stopped working out of nowhere?

ok i recently updated to windows 7 from Xp and i've noticed that most of my games do run better then they did on windows Xp.
but i have noticed lately my games just stop working out of nowhere and i have searched online for many solutions but cant find one i have even stopped all programs running in the background and this still doesnt solve my problem.
everytime i go to play nazi zombies on my pc the whole game just starts getting laggy and everything its kind of getting to the point where its just ticking me off and it does it for both versions of Zombies on black ops and World at war.

Have you re-installed the games in Windows 7? Are all your drivers updated for this operating system? Does these games support this operating system? I think this are crucial questions to your problem but if all your answers to this is yes, then there must be something wrong with the installation of the games itself. I hope you find your solution soon. Good luck!

yes like i've said i've tried every solution possible and nothing works i really wanted to play a few of these games but they just stopped working i have re-installed them and everything but still nothing :(

Try reinstalling directx. Have you tried setting the compatibility options to window xp?
