How do I get a star ranking?

I just noticed that a lot of people on My Lot have a star beside their name and they are ranked at a certain position. I was wondering what I have to do to get a star ranking. Any answers out there for me?

thanks for starting this discussion. i was wondering abt the same. going by the discussion , i understand that 100th post gets u a star, howvever i can see one member with 3000 + post and with no stars...how does that go? i was wondering...

The different colour stars depend on how other users rate our posts. The more plusses the higher the star. Float yur cursor over the star to see what percentage a user has.
If a user has no star at all then their activty was not considered positive by other users

The star beside our names represent our mylot reputation. This merely represents how the other users look at you. As you can see whenever you are reading discussions, there is a "+" and "-" sign below the post. As a member of mylot, we are asked to rate each member's post if we feel like doing so. If many users have rated your post positively, then you will get a higher mylot reputation.
